The first clip is exactly what happened to me. I was a lv 30 Warlock and a lv 26 Rogue dueled me. He had shit gear and no trinkets. I accepted and changed his gear. He absolutely annihilated me, and of couse when I see his gear (friends checked) he had almost all blues and pvp trinket. This actually made me stop playing wow hc and cancel subscription. I understand that you do anything to win a mak'gora, but this is just fking stupid. I don't have much time playing wow, but I never would've imagined anyone would do this.
The thing is that should also count for all the other stupid WoW mechanisms which can kill you but they shouldn't .. the problem is that blizzard don't care.. When you begin to play there is a text where you have to agree to the terms that anything can kill you even dc and anything and it is "part of the experience" ... Blizzard just wants us to play longer :P
your gear and buffs should be locked in as soon as you initiated/accepted makgora. anything else goes. but baiting will be disabled if they do this one simple tweak and i believe they should.
i mean, the vast majority of people in HC are not rat streamers trying to kill your char for content on their dead stream... most people are genuinely helpful and kind.
Somehow take a snapshot of gear and buffs when you start a /makgora and don't allow gear or buff changes to apply in the duel. Or just make it like duel arena in OSRS.
It'd be cool if you could still log into the dead character but it's like a ghost, translucent and can't interact with anything or anyone, maybe restrict how far they can go from where they died not sure on that. Like a fun spectator mode. Then you could have an event on Halloween where for that one night, all the ghosts can roam freely and can duel other ghosts. Would be so sick. Idk, I'm just spitballin here.
I think it'd be cool if they added non-interactable ghost NPCs that roam around close to where people died, but then that would give away information at certain places where people die the most. Also I think it would be quite a bit of processing power... lol And then there are those people who would waste time just dying to spam create ghosts..

You've got a generation that speed leveled past Gnomergon without even playing it, and they think that because it's lower level it must be easier, silly people.

12:40 never went down in the middle, usually on the left lane, staying away from the middle and not standing on the railing to avoid mobs resetting. Tank and melees must know what they're doing to avoid the mines. 17:30 AFAIK the NPC says to stay away.
In the BRD group I don't understand why when they overpulled they waited for their healer to die before going to the reset spot...why not just immediately go to the reset spot with your whole group alive 🤣🤣

(Also no joke but gaming archaeology is a real thing which includes a study in which a whole team went into Draugr Tombs in Skyrim to see what we could learn about the culture of those people without getting into written lore. Just based on where and how things were placed and built and how people were buried and with what we managed to figure out lots of interesting facts. Go look it up

lessons learned during this video for them who didn't pay attention in classic wow school, melee classes like rogue/warrior don't like to fight multiple mobs that are a few levels higher than them= classic wow shafts melee attackers so hard on hit/parry/miss that you are almost always at a disadvantage even if you are in good gear vs higher level mobs. what do we take from this ? running into 3 mobs with casters as a rogue solo while they are 2 levels ahead of you is dumb, thats a hunter/mage/warlocks thing not yours, you have to level safer as a melee xD Edit: yes hyperspawns suck, the amount of times ive killed a mob to have another spawn right on top of where i just killed the last one is unreal, it makes some zones near unplayable at there level because by the time you have killed a few mobs the ones you did first are already back.

warlock coulda just spam feared blazerunner to death. pretty much nothing except undeads have fear immune in classic so warlock can solo everything including big bosses like shadra without getting hit even once. youre also supposed to use a quest item at the end of linken quest chain on blazerunner to weaken him and it doesn't look like he did

Tbf the Blazerunner quest is "new" in HC since the pre-quest for that is the Videre elixir quest. It's still a 56 orange elite mob.

i started walking bc i thought anyone would get aggro, yes i didnt played that well but the other 4 survived thanks go me.. thats what good healers do
