His sound is strong and can definelty ispire new music but who knows punk, knows that punk music is only half of what punk really is. Being Punk is a way of thinking more than a simple genre, and Playboi definitely doesn't have a punk mindset. I've never seen Playboi supporting or collaborating with any punk bands, he doesn't play small cheap venues, he only wears punk stuff because of the imaginary.
