This mindset of Western dominance leads to the establishment of the "rules-based order" that Westerners talk about. The West believes that their way of life is the standard, but the truth is far from it. The conquered people are not in competition with the West nor do they desire to be. People in the global south have different philosophies of life and no desire to pursue materialistic riches or disrespect and exploit the earth as the West does. Their way of life has existed since the dawn of mankind. The earth is 4.5 billion years old, and the way the West treats the earth ultimately leads to its destruction and the potential extinction of humankind. Unfortunately, the West beast cannot change themselves and its superego will not allow it. Let me endorse his approach with few more points. 1) China is moving up the value chain, because it has to continue to provide its people with better life And escape the Middle-Income traps. This means China has to move its lower cost manufacturing outside China (anyone who works in these low cost companies could not has a life of developed world). Currently China is moving mostly to Eastern Asia.
