    You saved the best game for last. I'm a big fan of the "Rush Rally" games. I own all of them - except for the first which got delisted many years ago. "3" is my personal favorite in the series, but Origins is really fun in a "Thrash Rally" (old Neo Geo game) sort of way,

      I must admit, I'm new to this series but I've been picking up my iPad/iPhone more and more and this is rapidly becoming a game I go to to test stuff cause I like how it feels, how it controls. I'm gonna have to give it a proper "sit down and game" session very soon. And with you pretty much saying the series is great a whole, I think I need to give it the love it seemingly deserves.

    Hi Klef👋 is been a while, sorry for rarely coming to your videos, i hope you are doing well.❤️ Btw i want to ask a question regarding the S9, are this controller can be used with the phone case attached to it? For example like iphone 15 pro max with transparent case, will it work out of the box without any modifications. Thanks 🙏

      @GameTechTalk  3 місяці тому +1

      Hey Amrie! No worries brother, it's nice of you to come say hi when you can, plus it wouldn't be fair of me to expect that of you. You're good bud, and to your question, yes. The abxylute s9 has a pretty sticking out USB-C, far more than the average so the connection is always quite compatible with cases so far. Anything slim and ultra slim will work guaranteed. I wouldn't bet on one of those "construction guy" rugged cases but just about everything else would work fine.

    I would like someone to confirm for me if pubg is available for the iPhone using this abxylute controller using the mapping portion of the software

    • @GameTechTalk
      @GameTechTalk  15 днів тому

      Screen mapping hasn't been possible on iOS for nearly 10 years. Sadly PUBG, as it has no official controller support, cannot be played on iPhone using mapping solutions, that is exclusive to Android. Cheers

    • @claytonschroeder
      @claytonschroeder 15 днів тому

      @ I thought the Gamesir G8 Plus was able to be mapped via Bluetooth? I thought only usb C or the older lightning was not possible due to Apple blocking access via their ports? Please correct me if I’m wrong because I have a G8 Plus coming tomorrow to test. Would love to be able to use it for apps that don’t support controller in iOS.

    • @GameTechTalk
      @GameTechTalk  15 днів тому

      @@claytonschroeder The GameSir can be mapped, to itself. Via Bluetooth but also wired as Apple has allowed more controllers as of iOS 18. Screen mapping is not allowed. For screen mapping to occur, the app/controllers needs to have rights to control the front screen and overlay it with "touch-like" inputs that the app than associates to controller inputs.
      That right privilege is impossible to obtain for any software on Apple. Unless Apple changes that deeply rooted function of the operating system, screen mapping simply is impossible.

    I am really interested In this, except one thing. Why are the companies making the best controllers making such a big mistake with making a full back? The amount of heat that’s going to trap in the back of the phone is going to make higher demanding games unplayable after an hour of play. I really don’t understand it. I understand they think it’s for the sturdiness, but the backbone and nomad do perfectly fine in the “sturdy” category and the phone still gets somewhat hot, so with a full back trapping all that heat, I don’t even want to imagine. I put mine in between games on a iPad fan stand which makes it stay at comfortable heat, but this is not going to be the case with this.

    • @GameTechTalk
      @GameTechTalk  4 місяці тому

      I mean, to some extent, you could wrap the back with a heat absorbing material but I get your point. I prefer that to be honest but in all honesty, no one product can be perfect, too many variables to manage.

    • @GrimeyGrim
      @GrimeyGrim 4 місяці тому

      @@GameTechTalk I use a case with heat absorbent built into it. It only helps a small amount. With a fan or a cooler is when it really works. I can see the full back being good with casual games. I don’t play emulation so I have no idea how much heat they produce so maybe these products are perfect for those. I do know fps games fry phones up. Codm I can play about 3 games before it starts lagging, and Bloodstrike, it’s about the same. This is without the fan. With a fan, and not having a power source, it isn’t an issue. I also understand their are lots of variables to building these that I probably don’t comprehend, but all the best controllers that have everything I would want, have a full back which make them basically a no go. I don’t have multiple phones, and I’m not going to put anymore strain on the phone I have because a company decides to build a device, that causes the biggest cause of battery deterioration which is heat.
      This thing is amazing through and through. Having built in gyro, 🤯 Bluetooth, and usb c. I do believe this controller has the potential to change the phone controller industry. So it’s not hate towards you or the product. I just dislike the full back.

      @@GameTechTalk also I’m planning on buying the Razer edge, and I’m curious if there is a gap enough in the back, to allow the fans to push air out effectively.

      @@GrimeyGrim I haven’t overheated in recent devices but I’m not a reference, I keep my room at 20c. With that said, you are one of many that addressed this issue, in fact, I’m holding off for a controller I should receive shortly that will hopefully be ideal for that very problem. Stay tuned!

    Do the EasySMX and Abxylute S9 both only work in Bluetooth Mode with the Main USB C port or does one of them also work if power is put in through the charging port?
    Great Video as always.
    Btw, what are you using to create Macros?

    • @GameTechTalk
      @GameTechTalk  4 місяці тому +2

      The Bluetooth mode can accept power from both USB-C ports so to your point, a cable running down that middle bottom port would be enough to get Bluetooth running. As for the screen mapping, I’m using Redmagic’s native solution. Lots of benefits in « gaming » phones, that’s definitely one of them.

      @@GameTechTalk thats great to hear! btw when you are reviewing a product please talk about weight and measurement like height thickness wideness (both inch and cm, gram and ounce) too, and how much battery it drains from phone (how efficient is the device) this way your review will be more complete. these informations are sometimes hard to find (sometimes its even inaccurate on websites) and compare. you can even test more about some features like gyro or rumble and talk more about them. and talk about can you put phone with case or not. thanks for answering.
