how it became super good in the end:
He uploaded an image of the 3d model to photoshop, where he painted the rest in using different brushes and paint to make it more realistic than a normal 3d model.
That's true dude but then again it looks more of a concept art rather then a 3D model finished for CGI, and no buddy said this is going to be for CGI it's a speed art.

there are lot of ways.first one is use fibermesh inside zbrush.just google "fibermesh beginner guide for zbrush".second way is use hair cards.hair cards mainly used for games and real time animations.and third one is xgen in maya.its used mainly for movies.

It's pretty simple Basic model -> Render ->Photoshop painting
Just before the final stage he looks like a model from Batman Arkham Asylum and I really dig it.

He did sculpture on zbrush but at the final picture he used photoshop to make the final touch. Which is remarkable! Loved this tutorial, I have 0 experience on design and I was invited to make a formation how to use zbrush, I'm not sure I'll be doing it because I'm 35yrs old I love design and video-games do you think it's easy to learn zbrush?

Actualmente en la industria de cine,video juegos etc implementa mucho el arte conceptual 3d/2d ya que trae incontable beneficios,el 3d es utilizado para crear imágenes estáticas desde siempre,no comprendo a que no le ves sentido
@@GonzaEstayArt no le veo sentido a tomarte la molestia de modelar en 3D, creo que usar Photoshop desde el principio hubiera sido la mejor opción.
@@MiguelCruz-yl7wl No para mi amigo soy escultor no ilustrador,hoy en día se utiliza esta técnica mixta ya que agiliza los tiempos y da resultados excelentes,pero para ejecutarla demanda saber ambas disciplinas,te invito a que investigues
