I love seeing your experiments.. it makes me happy! I tend to grow several varieties in my mufga but I’m constantly moving in and out things over there I have 2 18 cell units. I love seeing the mufga get some shine ✨
It's interesting that your lolla rossa from MIGardener had low germination rates. I also bought lolla rossa from MIGardener and was only able to get 2 seeds to germinate out of 18. Lately, none have germinated. I also had issues germinating upland cress from MIGardener. I've grown multiple hydroponic gardens and have a pretty good germination station setup, so I guess the lolla rossa and upland cress are duds. Anyway, the plants that did grow look great! I'm growing large leaf sorrel as well and it's tasty.
Love your channel! I took your suggestions for Baby Bok Choy, Lolla Rossa, and Paris Island. The Bok Choy has done well, but the Lolla Rossa & Paris Island have never sprouted in Harvest. I've tried 3 times. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Hmm... it's very surprising that the Lolla Rossa and Paris Island didn't sprout. I couldn't think of any reason but maybe try again with multiple seeds in each pod. If it continuously fail, then I recommend buying seeds from a different store/vendor. I have Parris Island seeds from MIGardener and SeedsNow and both works great.
Yes, Sorrel and Kale continuously produce for many months. Lettuce is not a long crop but the varieties like Parris Island Cos and Lollo Rossa will survive up to 4 months.
@@sogden2111 Tap water has not the same pH around the world. Mine is slightly basic (alkaline) so I make it slightly acidic by adding some phoshoric acid. Some plants are unable to absorb nutrients from an alkaline nutrient solution.

Nice to see the MUFGA12 getting some UA-cam time.

Team Mufga!!!😊😊
Another great informative video, thank you. How often do you harvest from the same lettuce plant? Daily?
If we harvest the lettuce little deep, it takes ~5 days to come back. So, I always do the deep harvest and stick to 5 day rotation.

Will the ones you cut back grow more or no?

Do you usually adjust the pH?
No, I never look for pH or adjust it.
It is my understanding that when using either MaxiGro or Jack's Nutrients, both brands have pH buffering.
