Crawling after a hundred dollar bill while having a heart attack. That's so cheapskate Alan. On the other hand Jon Cryer was totally believable. Good acting, the brother you loved to hate.
You just know things are bad when 100 dollars doesn’t make Alan Harper feel better.
Yet, even having a heart attack, he still crawled for the $100.
Alan crawling for that $100 bill during a heart attack was the most Alan thing I've ever seen. 😂

I really think most people would have the same attitude towards Alan as Zoey if we were in her situation
I mean, obviously, I get the whole "I wanna live with my partner in his own house!" point. Who wouldn't! But not showing the slightest bit of empathy for a man who just suffered a heart attack (confirmed by a doctor) is just a real bitch move!
@@NiVi192 bruh alan been in that house since season one and has been sponging off his brother for years and now a random stranger. Heart attack or not, I would be hot too. Also walden could have just put him in the hospital
@@XxxX-kg2pm Ok, the duration of Alan's stay in that house and the spineless motching off his late brother has nothing to do with Zoey, first of all! It also wasn't really Zoey's business who her boyfriend allows to stay in his house, until Walden brought up the idea of moving in together (Walden is a smart, grown up individual who can do whatever he may pleases with his money). From that point on she did have a say in it, but the woman had. sth. against Alan long before that (personally, I think she wouldn't have agreed to move in together so quickly if it hadn't involved replacing Alan's as the "first lady of the household"). Bottom line, naturally, she doesn't want to see her boyfriend being taken advantage of, but she also just wants be his main influence in life.
Everyone cares until it affects them. I know from experience

Things seemed to flip after Charlie's death. After that, it just became the "Alan sucks" show, with everyone just dissing Alan left and right.
Neither are the good son
Chalk it up to Flanderization. She went from favoring him over Charlie to being openly repulse by the very thought or mention of Alan, preferring Walden and Jenny more.
Both Charlie and Alan were awful in their own ways.
*Charlie:* Drunken, narcissistic, borderline misogynistic manwhore.
*Alan:* Cheap, manipulative, neurotic, obsessive mooch/leech.
Though their mother *Evelyn* was no saint either.
Honestly, Walden’s the most likable main character.
well, he was until he screwed up every single thing in his life. What did he do well in his life? Nothing, except mooching!
It’s very hard to watch this and think it’s funny. No matter what Alan does he’s constantly dumped on, belittled, and even when having a heart attack people still think less of him. It just makes me sick how these women think so little of him. Honestly Walden is a good friend, taking responsibility for his heart attack.
I mean.. this is the guy who stole his friend's and family's money under the guise of "investing" it, was hiding a massive wad of cash from charlie making him pay for everything.. could I see him fake a heart attack so he wouldn't have to move out of the extravagant beach house that he doesn't pay rent at? Absolutely yes. Also Judith showed concern, they clearly couldn't get or want to get lindsay's actress which is why they had that quick line and shadows behind the curtain, and walden's girlfriend was right, he was a leech. Also it's a comedy, Alan's mom was self centered but would still help her kids and she's constantly dumped on for being cold and manipulative, it's how chuck lorre comedies work.

Literally NO ONE loves Alan. His mom calls him the bad son, Jake only cares about himself, and Lindsey literally doesn’t show any emotion towards this
Walden is the only friend Alan has.

Excuse me, but when did Evelyn ever refer to Charlie as "the good son" while he was still alive?!?! Not that it's a major mistake, but she repeatedly said it the other way around! ... I suppose the continuity left with Charlie and his writers.
She always love Charlie he her favorite she basically gave alan the Doughboy treatment

This really was as non-believable as it gets. Nobody would allow a stranger to stay in their home, especially knowing they have no intention of leaving. Family, maybe, but not this.

I wish in this scene charlie should have came back for a cameo this show is not the same without him. I know he would have showed up to see his brother charlie even though he plays the playboy tough brother he would never abandon alan...

I have never been a fan of "the loser" troupe and this show took things to a level where I honestly started to think "what the fuck". I mean, the guy just had a heart attack and they just roast him and use him as a punchline. It would have been one thing if Alan had turned things around, but nope.
Go ahead and tell me it is just comedy and that I should relax. I dislike humiliation and it being treated as a joke will never do it for me.

Zoe kind of reminds me of that chick that played Emily in Friends!! Same look...same voice...I keep thinking its her!! But Friends is like 30 years ago now!!
It was shallow but fun and somehow believable on Charlie's time. Then it went WAY too grotesque 🤦🤡
