Abilities like Flash Fire are infinitely better this generation due to terrastalization. Usually these types of abilities are on pokemon that dont need the immunity but now you can just swap types and keep an immunity to 1 type. Ceruledge bought to be a menace, its speed and attack are going be nice so you know its a sweeper that has at least 2 immunities.
Ima stop you right there, because the stats is what will determine how good it could be. There are Pokémon that look like they are fast and strong and turn out to be weak or slow.

Essentially like a sub-gym challenge in a way? They also specify that she's "the teams best all-rounder", so maybe each boss, on top of specializing in a specific type, also specialize in specific way/stat of battling (speed, defense, attack, etc.). Besides that, Armorouge is sick, I like ghosts types better, but I dig cannons more than swords. I Hope they talk more about version exclusives in the next trailers so I can make a definitive decision on which game to get, I'm kinda set on Scarlet so far, but that can always change. Always appreciate your videos Shofu, idk if you stream more than you post, I'll try to catch you on Twitch whenever I can 🤙🏼
My only complaint with literally any of this is the fact that, in the stills, the trailer, AND the GIF on Pokémons Twitter, the blast from Armarouge's Armor Shot doesn't charge and fire from the mouth of the cannon, it's noticeably misaligned and comes out slightly below. I'm not even a graphics girl and I know it's par for the course with GF but like...it really bothers me.
Seems to me like Armarouge could be more of a wallbreaker while Ceruledge is more of a late-game sweeper. Looking forward to finding out their stats and other moves
The real thing that will determine which is "better" is gonna be the crazy Terrastalize strategies. Flash Fire will be way more useful that was possibly.
flash fire would make armarouge pretty good in doubles, especially if you can get lava plume in the same turn; otherwise, i'd say ceruledge is better (in singles). now we just needs to see their stats - hopefully they're not glass cannons with low speed..
Something to keep in mind is GF never shows "Hidden Abilities" until after the game comes out, so even if flash fire was bad they probably have 1 more ability you can get.
I think it's Arma-Rouge, like Rouge the Bat. I'm sure the warriors are based on the Scarlet/Violet colors. Armarouge is a play on Rouge, which is French for Red, and Ceruledge is a play on Cerulean, which is a shade of purplish-blue
You could even give it weakness policy if it's bulky enough. It seems like it will be one of those mons with good attack and defence, but mediocre speed.

yo, the 2 new knight pokemons both have 7 resistances and 5 weaknesses, but with ceruledge having 2 immunities and armarouge having 1, and the weaknesses are all the exact same with Ground, Rock, ghost, water and dark Edit: didnt account for armorouge's flash fire, so it has 6 resistances

Klawf will probably have similar stats to Azumarill (funny they even showed it vs). Azumarill sucks without Huge Power. But my ghost/fire boy tho... swords dance into Flare Blitz and then heal with that new signature move. going to be nasty
I hope Scarlet/Violet is a return to form for the series. I want Klawf and Grafaiai on my team. Armorogue and Ceruledge will likely be this gen's Blacephalon so you'll be seeing lots of T-tars just to check them. I missed your Pokémon content Shofu. If this Pokémon winds being a water type and or learns water type and ice type moves it might be pretty good. I mean Dragalge is a example of non water type Pokémon that learns water and ice type moves making it very good for mono water teams. So hopefully this Pokémon can be added added to mono water teams while fitting the water theme

Man I don't know when Gamefreak is gonna get that if they put voice acting into their games? It'd just REALLY help with the whole visual quality. If the audio is covering for the graphics it just feels so much better, ya know what I mean? It's like their mindset is still on portable when they actually have a console to work with.
Anger shell is insane cause if a move got it to half or less hp already it wasn't gonna love though the next hit anyway. Imagine getting hit and she'll smashing on the same turn and maybe a good item besides using a white herb or fs and just sweep till like a priority move comes in, could be scary on a tracer pokemon
Ceruledge is in my top 10 favorite pokemon designs. Armorouge looks cool too, but looks REALLY cool when it uses its signature move. Auto battling is one of the coolest sounding features Game Freak has done so far. It helps to change up the gameplay and might be a good QoL feature. It may also make the world feel more alive seeing your pokemon in the background fighting something while you're searching for something else. I was already excited for Scarlet and Violet and this trailer pretty much doubled my excitement
So the "third legendary" is a car engine? Y'know, it could be an interesting take. Having your mons wander on their own to train/explore is pretty cool. The pickup ability gonna go crazy

Miraidon is supposed to be dragon electric. I don't think Ceruledge will be supereffective against Miraidon.

Man I don't know when Gamefreak is gonna get that if they put voice acting into their games? It'd just REALLY help with the whole visual quality. If the audio is covering for the graphics it just feels so much better, ya know what I mean? It's like their mindset is still on portable when they actually have a console to work with.

Anger shell is insane cause if a move got it to half or less hp already it wasn't gonna love though the next hit anyway.
Imagine getting hit and she'll smashing on the same turn and maybe a good item besides using a white herb or fs and just sweep till like a priority move comes in, could be scary on a tracer pokemon
Ceruledge is in my top 10 favorite pokemon designs. Armorouge looks cool too, but looks REALLY cool when it uses its signature move.
Auto battling is one of the coolest sounding features Game Freak has done so far. It helps to change up the gameplay and might be a good QoL feature. It may also make the world feel more alive seeing your pokemon in the background fighting something while you're searching for something else. I was already excited for Scarlet and Violet and this trailer pretty much doubled my excitement

I believe it’s ar-ma-roo-zh as in the color rouge which is a red. And Ceruledge is obviously a play on Cerulean which is blue
