    I know you talked about HIV and HCV and IMZ being a lot of the questions, but were there other topics that you thought you had a lot of questions on?

    • @pharmresidents
      @pharmresidents  2 роки тому +1

      Honestly, those are the biggest areas. If you mean IMZ as immunizations, I also think ID - infectious diseases was big. Brand names, a few compounding questions, that's about all I have to recommend besides going through each chapter and getting the comprehensive study experience.

    Did you have alot of select all that apply? And are these weighted more than others or worth the same amount of points.

    • @pharmresidents
      @pharmresidents  2 роки тому

      Hello! I can't remember exactly how many, this is more common on law exams (MPJEs), but they should all be weighted equally. Some questions are thrown out because they are test questions, but you won't know these before or after the exam.

    • @user-es5jq6yy9l
      @user-es5jq6yy9l 2 роки тому

      @@pharmresidents ok, so its better to answer all the questions and guess even if you do not know the answer? I thought that the calculations are worth more or scaled more heavily so that if you get a calculation wrong it can significantly lower your score

    • @pharmresidents
      @pharmresidents  2 роки тому

      @@user-es5jq6yy9l Hmmm, I believe it's better to answer all the questions, they changed what % of each section was more prevalent in the exam just this past year, focusing less on calculations. I would contact NABP or check their annual bulletin for more details. Sorry I don't have better information!

    I am Indian pharm D student,to become a clinical pharmacist in usa ,how many exams to write 🤔 to become a clinical pharmacist in usa please tell me 🙏

    • @pharmresidents
      @pharmresidents  Рік тому

      Hello, I'm not sure how many additional exams you would have to take other than the NAPLEX and MPJE for the state(s) you practice in. I believe there is an exam which you take to ensure the pharmacy school you took out of the USA meets qualifications for USA pharmacy schools, it might be the foreign licensure exam, but I'm not sure. I would ask your pharmacy school if they have additional information for past students who have worked in the USA post graduation.

    How did you study for math

    • @pharmresidents
      @pharmresidents  Рік тому +1

      I think I read the calculations chapter in RxPrep twice, at the start of my studying, and then 1 day before the test. I did all of the practice questions, then repeated the ones I thought were challenging the night before.

    which rxprep year did you use? the website only has 2022

    • @pharmresidents
      @pharmresidents  2 роки тому

      I used 2021, at some point they no longer sell/give access to the previous year's material. Not sure if you can find a used 2021 book online or from past students, but I would try to get in a group purchase with your pharmacy class for the most current year. Typically there are updates in at least a few disease states, and I personally wouldn't want to study old material...

      @@sugarcub3176 Good luck! Happy to help, for the book, if you need to prioritize your time, just hit the chapters you feel really you struggle with or are asked commonly on the exam. I did not review pharmacy foundations, and I regret reviewing the compounding section because it was a waste of my time. The videos I also did not get through the majority of due to time, but enjoyed the review of infectious diseases and calculations videos.
