I recently had 3 screws put into my left sacroiliac joint (si-lok) and I feel biomechanically pretty worse than before, with much general pain in other joints and muscles that already bothered me. I truly feel my need is to restore movement in my left SIJoint. For you knowledge and experience, might you say what are the effect of a screws removal: is that true that inflammatory reaction from the removal may ignite production of bone material not just in the holes left but even into the joint, leading anyway in some kind of fusion of the sacroiliac? Putting the screws across the joint has damaged the cartilage and ligaments? I will really appreciate your opinion and any gentle suggestion of yours.
