There's low-key some synergy between Dragno King and anything awaken. The idea is you build a field of a lvl 2 King and a bunch of Awakening spirits with some cores to pass around. Now everything on your board threatens to take out an additional spirit if they're blocked but win the BP comparison since awakening let's you pass around the soul core. Even if the attacking spirit would lose the battle, you can use one of your other awakeners in post blockers flash and suck the cores off of the spirit that would be destroyed anyway.
I would just like to say while I agree with what you say about Great desk mountain. For that card in particular you just ignore the lvl 1 effect and Terrasaur plays it, they can so easily just run 1 core only on there spirits to push lethal
I might be sounding a little pessimistic, but as a Rex player, can't complain too much. I think Red as a whole is a bit lacking in set 2, no matter the deck we're talking about. Do you really think Nexus Hazzard is going to be that good? I just personally think that even in Gigano, it's almost a bit of a win more card because in order to take advantage of it, we have to be super wide which sometimes isn't always the option, whereas burning force is good usually most of the time. I could be dead wrong though, I do wonder if it not counting Emp beasts will hurt it in the long run, but I absolutely love Gigano, and really hope it doesn't get phased out come set 2. Also I think the fact that one of our best cards, Lightning aura, is most likely going to be just better in a different color lmao, idk if that's saying something or what but hey, I'm sure Luster folks are happy to see all this strong magic. Really wish they wouldn't keep up with this destruction of 2K spirits or less stuff, if thunder leon isn't good enough to even be in a side board, this new magic probably isn't either. Also wish Meteorwurm had his target attack still, but it looks like they're really trying to not give Red some of the stuff it's had in the past, but again, when you're the best deck in set 1, I can really only be pessimistic but so much here lmao Love the videos as always, can't wait to see the recaps on the other colors!

Probably not quite there yet but a few of these cards are making a white/red tuborex deck I've been wanting to try oh so close to viable.
