- Money Matters is a series where I have conversations with normal people such as you and I, on your personal finance issues.
It is important to note that I am NOT a financial expert, I am NOT SEBI registered, and I am NOT qualified to give financial advice.
Everything that I say in these videos is purely through my own experiences.
- So these videos do not offer any stock tips, or specific mutual fund recommendations or get-rich-quick schemes.
- I am not selling any product or service through these videos.
- None of the brands that I mention in these videos have paid me to mention them, unless I explicitly say so (and I will say if the video is sponsored).
This also means that my advice may not always be the right advice. So incase I make a mistake, the best way to correct me will be to share your point of view in the comments, so that everyone can benefit from it.
I am not perfect, nor claiming to be either and would love to learn and grow.
The idea is simply to help people with their finance journey and through their story try to help others who may have a similar story.

Ankur ji, I love your videos. I am 38 and had heard about Compounding but only been able to pay attention to Compounding now. Took out a 18k SIP last week, after watching your videos.

Sir, please make video for people who started investing late and are in their 40s with income under 1 lakh per month. How they can achieve financial freedom and early retirement? What strategy they should follow to build wealth.
Thanks
Hi sir, you are doing awesome, my humble suggestion from a fan..adding to all u do, I think you also need to tell them how much will be this corpus after inflation adjusted in 10yrs, 20yrs, 30yrs..that will give a vision with reality..
Great video. One most important and non-negotiable point. Keep developing skills.
Why ?
Software is a field that pays heavily for skills and top 20% people make a ton as power law comes into play. At age 30, he will easily make ~1cr/ year base package other than esops which is around 4.5L-5.5L / month in hand after taxes.
Salary doesnt increase drastically. Also not many sde will go above 40L in package in their entire career. Package depends upon the company you are working in. City also plays some role but majorly its company. There are not many companies that pay this kind of money.
Remember, world only focuses on very few things. They will talk about 10 person with 50L package but will not tell you that for those 10 people, there are 10000 people working for 6L package.
Great planning 👌 👍
Hello sir
I m your new subscriber....
I would like to say that your all videos are knowledgeable....
Thanks a lot sir 🙏
For teaching us very well.
Sir i humbly request to you please make a video on ETF......
Which ETF should we buy... When we can buy... when should we sell....
What are the drawbacks.... please sir
One important fact is missed in your videos
That is needs and wants expenditure in total monthly

Hi Ankur, by watching your videos over a period of time, I have learnt a lot but at the time of investing I am having a lot of confusion like where and on which platform to invest ,To be precise I am confused on investing in mutual funds or Capital guaranteed scheme like policy bazar. Aditya Birla capital guaranteed scheme where I have to invest 9000 per month for 10 years and wait for 10 more years to get a corpus of 2.30 crores
Please help me buy replying or making a video related to capital guaranteed scheme policy bazar
Thank you in Advance Ankur ❤

@warikoo
Every time you tells about investing money
What is the tax when we are investing money like 40k per month in this episode
How much tax we have to pay as per the investment said by you when we get 6 crore
Is SIP calculation so linear
If market is on lower side at the time of withdrawing the SIPeg at 7 yrs
That time Valuation will not be what you calculated
VALUE WILL BE LOWER
Kindly clarify
Sir my age is 30 and at the age of 29 I got selected in bank now my in hand salary is 42k and already I have 3 small cap mutual funds all together 3500 but still I'm not confident about my financial freedom & my bank provides me health insurance not to my parents so can u please guide how can I will become financially independent after 20 yrs by investing in mutual funds

There is nothing wrong in that. Abhi 10k hai to hamesha nhi rehne wale. Sahi shi manage kar money ko or tu bhi 40-50yrs tak kay age tak 1cr to kama he lega

Wondering why does he want to do an executive MBA if he is already earning 1.12L per year. He will already earn more than how much he will invest plus an year of time unless he does it from top IIM.
Hi Ankur, at 29:33 you have mentioned that the principal amount in the education loan is tax free under 80C 1.5 L limit. This is incorrect. Only home loan Principal amount (upto 1.5L) gets the benefit of Income tax under sec 80C. Please check again. Please correct me incase my understanding is wrong.

Do compounding really works or is it just the NAV that increases/decreases?
Objectively it's just the increase in NAV value. But underlying assets that the MF hold is shares of companies which increase their worth overtime by doing ACTUAL work. So you being owning some part of it through MF also increase your net worth overtime. To understand how one is increasing the net worth we have different mathematical tools like CAGR, XIRR which uses compounding as the concept to come to the % number.
@@NitinPal101 That means my assumption was right. It's just the NAV that increases. And it's just another way of telling people the definition of compounding.
My second doubt is, Is our profit that we gain over time also remains invested or just our invested amount is the one that is invested?
