(I made A LOT of reeds before graduation that just needed the tips finished). Now that I am back in school, I am trying to remember everything I was taught. Now I remember how to wrap the Turk's Head.
some notes, i use candle wax for reeds, it helps create a more seamless reed barrel. also my teacher uses nail polish before duco cement inorder to seal it better and mark where string must go. he also makes his turks head knots very large to keep the reed from falling ont he tip. BTW the recommended crochet cotton is a size 10 crochet cotton, available everywhere, including walmart
