After listening to his interview with Brian, I’m thinking Harris. I said my way too early take is that he puts a little pressure on Fletch with his ball handling, defense, and athleticism.
@@FeedthePost I'm really curious how the minutes are going to shake out this year. They have the personnel to run big or small, and whichever Painter leans towards will probably determine which Freshmen will have the most impactful year. Great content as always brother, you are very appreciated.
@@FeedthePost Heide at the 4 (something I've heard bounced around, but don't know if there's any legitimacy to it) could also make an impact as well. While probably not ideal in terms of bench personnel, starting TK, Heide, Colvin, Fletch, and Braden is definitely an intriguing idea, and puts a lot of talent on the floor.
Jacobsen has great potential for Purdue. However, he needs to gain a few pounds - give him some biscuits and gravy. Against GVSU, I was impressed with Freshmen: Gicarri Harris, C.J. Cox, Jack Benter, and Aaron Fine. Burgess, Berg, and Colvin also contributed well.
A lot of these freshman mins will depend on how well Furst and Berg play. If those guys start the season well, I could see two or three of the 5 freshman red shirting by the deadline. If they don't then Burgess is the only likely candidate for Redshirt. I think Harris will play ~20 mins this year as he becomes the primary backup to Smith and Loyer.
I think I’m unreasonably high on Jack Benter. It doesn’t seem like he’ll get on the court much as a freshman, but I feel like he’s as good of a pure shot maker as we’ve seen in some time. (And he’s not a bad passer either)
Which freshman will make the biggest impact for Purdue this season?

I lean Harris for mine as well. I think he ends up being the true backup point guard and getting some time at the 2

Thanks! And I agree, ultimately how many minutes TKR plays at the 4 and 5 will go a long way in how this team plays

Joe Knows Ball!
I try

Great breakdown. Thank you so much. New subscription added. Boiler Up!!!
Thanks!
The future looks bright, very bright. I look forward to what the coaching staff can do with all this talent!
Going to be fun
Jack Benter! Remember that name guys.
👀
We will see! His shot is legit, but he won't be able to just rise above less athletic and shorter guys like was able to do in high school.
Jacobson looks good but he needs to strengthen his base/legs or he will get injured…needs those tree trunks Edey built
I agree he needs to put on weight to reach his potential but idk about the injury thing. No injury record so far from what I’ve seen
@@FeedthePost he’s about to play against some different mammals though. Like Dorothy said: “Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore!”

I think 2 freshmen do probably redshirt. My guess would be Benter + Burgess
No Aaron Fine breakdown?
If I had the time to do walk ons as well I would
@@FeedthePost oh honestly didn’t know he was a walk on lol
All good
No, but there's a great Larry Fine video breakdown. He'll most likely become a Purdue legend!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With how the roster is, I just don't see how he gets minutes this year. But I agree, I think he could have a Sasha type career (maybe a bit better)
AHHHHH JACK BENTERRR HE GOES TO MY HIGHSCHOOL❤
Where’s the Kannon breakdown?
I do unfortunately have a full video already made and edited including a Kanon Catching breakdown
Made 7 hours ago Kannon de commited went to BYU
He doesn’t matter anymore…released from LOI.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He's breaking down in a BYU compost dump. Doing great things for the environment.
