The chair to the backend if you pull the back forward it makes a step stool for all of us shorter folks. I would end up with a row of plants in that open space if I was going to be in it long. I actually liked the table area and main area looks open and roomy.
So much negative feedback. I love it. This is the first of this design. It can be improved upon but I would love to see them make it even better. I am tired of the same basic design and look for decades. Kudos to this team
Be warned! The back of the rv takes the biggest beating during transit so having the kitchen in the back isn't such a good idea. All that plumbing moving around isn't ideal! 20 year rv'er here, speaking from experience.
You will have a hard time regulating the temp with all of those windows. It will get HOT in the heat of the summer and cold air will billow in/lose heat. It is always much colder sitting next to the window.
The amount of things I want to comment on this unit is actually insane, currently owning a 2007 travelaire 5th wheel known for THEYRE quality. Seeing him open the drawers in the bedroom showed me all the quality I needed to know about this unit. Steps were skipped in the making of it. And I wouldn’t feel comfortable owning something with that poor of craftsmanship, let alone the lack of drawer space, climate control from the windows, poor quality of furniture in the living room, etc etc. most definitely a no go for me.
Slide covers would be nice. I actually like the layout, however there's no drawer space for silverware etc in the kitchen. I would rather have a sectional or large sofa (w/ recliners) with all that wall space. It's nice to see different layouts now instead of the usual old set ups. Did the windows have both day and night shades? I might have missed it... Wow, the bathroom is nice. Love the counter space! I like the washer and dryer closet! I think I'd rather see cabinets with drawers where the chairs were in the kitchen. Always need more storage in kitchen for those who love to cook like I do. Great rig Myles!
Hi Myles. In the livingroom I would have liked to have seen two sleeper-sofas across from one other for added sleeping space, but that’s just a personal preference. I like how the kitchen is setup but there isn’t much room so you could only have one person in that space at a time lol. I like the bedroom barn doors and the main bathroom is great! Thanks for sharing it!😊
Love that back bedroom ! I would take the sofa instead of all recliners. Nice kitchen. Don’t like the table. Too many windows in the middle. Thanks Myles.😊
Omg a man designed that kitchen! Got my ocd going insanely nuts over here and i dont even have ocd! Those cabinets...omg those cabinets under the sink...and no flippin drawers!!!! Ugh, now i gotta go practice my breathing 😂
Beautiful inside & out. They need to go back to the drawing board on this one. Kitchen is small & not functional. Wasted space in that big slide with 2 random chairs. Thanks for the video Myles 😊
It’s nice for someone, but not us. The windows should have not been so big and so many. I love the way that Alliance and Grand Design does their windows on their Fifth wheels..I can’t imagine the heat and cold that that Fifth wheel will let in.
This is nice but it doesn't hold a candle to the 5th wheeler that you and your wife display that is so sophisticated so elegant so upscale I'm interested in that one
I get they are going for look and different but sooo much wasted space....and NO DRAWERS in the kitchen....what? The factyou have to walk all the way to the back for kitchen access with only one way in, no outlet on what is the perfect coffee bar. Cant even with that pantry....give us open space with adjustable shelves to configure how we want. I really think with that space, they could have come up with something so much better. I am a home designer and the RV manufacturers/designers seem to run about 5 to 10 years behind trends. After forever, they are starting to add double sinks, but in home design, we are starting to move away from them. Most couples are never in the bathroom at the same time and most people want the extra counter space. Half bath is a huge wasteof space unless they added the washer dryer in there, then it would make sense. I'm just gonna half to switch from barndominium home design to rv design....😂😂😂
I think it’s pretty cool, but the first thing I look at in the kitchen is a pantry, a large fridge, and at least 12 inches on each side of the stove ..
WOW BROTHER, you are knocking it out of the park. I've been here since the beginning, and you are livng the dream. I hope all is well in your life, Miles. I just subscribed to your new channel, and I'm looking forward to seeing the future videos. God Speed Brother ❤ 💯
Given the amount of things wrong with this fifth wheel, it's not worth more than $60,000. Pretty Windows is a lost storage space or a desk. No power cord reel. No nightstands and a lack of adjustable shelves. Not to mention the lack of outlets in the kitchen.
I can see whomever does the laundry using that open area for a clothes stand to dry or sun your clothes, that is what I would use it for. Nice unit, but it is a definite oversight, in the main bedroom to have no bedside tables or shelves? they will surely be missed by whomever sleeps in that room
Unless you are right next to a lake, or some beautiful garden, and in a moderate climate, then the windows might not be such a great idea. Someone below said something like: "Why would I want to look at the dirt in a campground." I live in a big (2500 sq. ft.) manufactured home and all of the windows in the living and dining room are only 1 ft. off the floor and are hard to work around. So I've got some experience with this idea. For me, I would need more kitchen, counter, drawers and such to be able to comfortably cook, so this kitchen is too confined for me. I like the little side bar and thought, "perfect spot for a desk" until I realized why the area was so narrow.... to accommodate the slide. I would encourage the builder to put a drop table there vs. in front of the island to increase the open kitchen space. If you are going to have guests then having the half bath is nice. The main bath is the show stopper, that is for sure. I'd cut at least a foot from the bathroom and add it to the bedroom. Someone commented below that she would have to have side tables. I use a CPAP so it would be better for me, as well. Your negative comment about the poor quality mattress is well taken and when you do these tours please mention if upgrading a mattress is possible. If this were set up as an AirB&B someplace where the view was spectacular and took advantage of the big windows I would definitely consider spending a weekend there to give this a test run. However, since the kitchen has no drawers and is really cramped, I wouldn't buy it.
Whats the feasibility of parking something like this on acreage I have in Arizona and just leaving it there year round as a sort of "vacation" home? If it's on a foundation and covered does it hold up well if left for a few months at a time?
The only drawback for me is no drawers in the kitchen. Also no extra shelves in the pantry cupboards. Lots of extra organizational props needed in that kitchen to make it functional. Pull out shelves would be a must! Not too much walking around room so it needs to be more functional for me.
I get what they are going for, but I sometimes question the decisions these manufacturers make. Every space has to account for something when you have limited space, and the spot next to the windows is a bit unusable. It's like when they add hallways.. it's wasted space. Make every inch functional.
Not a fan of the kitchen, looks cramped and the dinning table looks like an after thought. I love the idea of all those windows but can imagine the California heat coming in and baking me.
Agree that the windows are a poor option if (like me) you are in Texas and have to deal with 110 degree heat for half the year. At least don't do the bottom row of glass on that four way section of windows in the rear slide. The cabinet in the kitchen with an outlet inside it is stupid... WHY? Who runs appliances while they are INSIDE a cabinet? The shelf on the back wall needs it, not have it hidden from use like it is. That draw in the bedroom you pulled out first wasn't mounted to anything was it? Just a lose fit thing? Draws... No draws in the kitchen? Were the designers living in a land where people don't eat so don't need to store flatware? Perhaps they just pose in nice color schemes? Yes. The color scheme is good. Darker furniture also looks less dirty/damaged as time goes on, so that's a positive.
So many design flaws with this 5th wheel, the first being so many floor to ceiling windows which will greatly affect the heating and cooling. While it looks attractive, there’s no element of privacy; yes the blinds can be closed, but why have the floor to ceiling windows if you have to keep them closed most of the time? Also, the storage in inadequate. Lots of small, narrow cabinets which don’t really offer any functionality.
I'm saying are we even camping anymore or are we just seeing who can have the biggest TV and fill it with a lot of high end things. Most are just ONE BEDROOM, so it signals, couples only and occasionally a guest who sleeps on the pull out sofa. To have it permanently placed or lived in seems more reasonable for the RVs anymore
Nooooo. This doesn't need the 2 bottom windows. What a waste of space. That shelf at the end looks like they didn't know what to do so they stuck a shelf there. The floor hump is right in the walking area . 😮This is a mess. Next who wants to cook in that tiny stove area?. Not me. Now that unneeded bathroom "seriously" it takes space away from the bedroom. They could have at least put a free standing table and chairs in from of those windows, I hate walking around things, also thing the actual kitchen area is cramped.
Lots of interesting ideas but so many fails. No outlets in the 'coffee bar', no drawers in the kitchen, flimsy drawers in the bedroom, lower quality stove and, while the windows look amazing, they will be hated in any climate that isn't 70 degrees. No drawers in the kitchen!?! Who’s responsible for that major design fail! That in itself is a big no deal for me. 🤦🏼♀️
Agreed!
A man...a man is responsible!
I guess we go back to eating with our hands since there is NO place to put silverware.

What a bunch of baloney...pretty sure your old 07 has cheesier quality than this hands down !
@@MichelLinschotencheesier quality? What are you even trying to say? I think your little brain is confusing aesthetics with build quality.
The only thing I was impressed with was the bathroom sinks actually have traps in them to prevent the smell from the tanks coming through them.
I LIKED THE 2022 3960 D BIG HORN...HAD LOTS OF STORAGE AND HUGE BATHROOM...BIG BEDROOM,NICE LIVING AND DINING ROOM,WITH DECENT KITCHEN
It LOOKS great! But pretty impractical...no drawers in the kitchen and although I love all the windows, its a no go for me...too hot in the summer.
More windows mean more shades!
Wow!! That is ginormous!! I love all those big windows!!
Love the bathroom!!
I like it. Love the colors, and like how you can use the open space by the extra windows however you want.
That fourth chair that is odd actually folds over and is a step stool to get in the higher doors in the kitchen
Heartland strikes me as a brand that prioritizes design over quality.
ive lived in a 5th wheel 4 almost 4 years now. hope to one day own one as nice as this :) its gorgeous!

Great rig Myles!
One thing that disappoints is no outlet in that small cubby that could be a desk They missed the mark on that space I think
Yes, and I'm wondering if there is some outlet behind the decor. Otherwise, bad design.
Hi Myles. It is very sad that we cant get these kind of RIGs in South Africa. Its a very beautiful rig thou.. I love it a lot.. very spacious.

Bad security with all those windows. But it's beautiful. Just a little scary for the world and times we live in.
I want to see a video on that cyclone RV with that slide in the slide!
I saw that and I thought to myself "What a horrible idea". Why not just make the slideout bigger?
I don't understand why there is no space to either side of that stove top.
I love the windows! However...it wouldn't be any good for full-time living exactly because of the inability to control the interior temp.
