Kevin has changed my whole perspective on relationships. I’m no longer looking for women to date I’m looking for a woman to marry. When I changed my dating profile from looking for a relationship to someone to marry I went from 20 to 75 matches in just a week. There are plenty of young attractive single women who are over this dating nonsense. I’m 34 and I will marry a FBI woman soon enough. Feminine beautiful inspirational 😎

Test her. Vet her. Kevin does things to evaluate a woman but he doesn't share much of it bc he knows they're watching. He does say that if she's serious about you she will delete all of her social media accounts. All of them. Most women use them for affirmation and attention. At first slowly find out everything she's on from watching her apps and searching around for yourself. THEN when it's time put it on her about getting serious = no social media. Then go check to see if she actually deleted all of them especially the ones she thinks you don't know about.

When you are dating to marry, the first couple of dates are like an interview. On both sides. Know what you want, and don't think because you're so cute, he might change his mind.
Man: I'm not looking for marriage.
Woman's interpretation: I'll be the exception.

INTENTIONAL dating works! I did it in high school. My husband proposed junior year and we married the summer of graduation. I told him straight up, I'm not living with a man I'm not related or married to and he took me seriously. We didn't care that others thought we were too young. Fast forward through 7 years of ugliness and selfishness that got weeded out and WE GOOD! I love me some him! 😍 3 kids and a dog to boot. I see why Kevin doesn't count engagements. Just because a man gives you a ring, or a woman accepts it, doesn't always mean they truly want to marry you. Some people will get engaged to you just to get you to stop bringing it up. Next thing you know 5 years has gone by, and you're still not officially married. If they genuinely want to marry you, they won't take years to go through with it. Stop letting these people who aren't serious waste your time. Both men and women.

Middle Easterns have been doing arranged marriage forever. Muslims and Christians. It’s actually nice. The men in the family ask about the potential suitor and see if he would be a good fit and then present it to the wife-to-be. And it’s by choice. And it usually is followed by a short engagement that involves courtship and then finally marriage. They don’t live together or produce children before marriage either. And divorce rates are low too.

I'm not even yelling or screaming like Kevin when he's in his feelings. Just straight talk. Even on emails I have to add exclamation marks because the women complain if the emails don't sound upbeat and cheerful. I can't say "Here's the files you requested.". Mr Samuels, I wanna thank u sir for bringing this great content and especially this topic about dating. This is something that I see even the parents in the Muslim community are having trouble teaching these concepts to our children. I love how u explained how dating started as an industry in the 1950s. And how dating is just a synonym for having sex...and the more sex partners a girl has, the less chance she ever has at becoming a real wife...she will never be invested into u like her first...I knew these concepts early on from my pops. Thats why when I got married, I went as old school as possible. I did like Pacino in Godfather 2 and went back to the old country, found me a college senior virgin, and asked her family for permission. I told her, "first u belonged to ur father and now u belong to me" ...she knows family comes first because she has morals. So even if I have to get on her about something, she recognizes what needs to be done and she doesn't give me any attitude. She gots that feminine energy that calms me down when Im angry, she even knows how to change the topic when there's a group conversation and its going somewhere where I might take issue...she is molded for me....and we never had a "dating period."

Reminds me of when my sister was in her late 20s. She was dating a guy almost 10 years older than her for about 2 years. At first she was hesitant he was that much older, but knew she wanted to get married and figured an older guy would be a better choice than the guys she had been dating her own age. Bottom line he wasn't making any moves or even talking about marriage after 2 years and it concerned her. She was wanted to have kids and a family and was nervous time was passing her by. So she finally decided to throw caution to the wind and sat him down for a talk. She basically gave him the shit or get off the pot speech, alluding to being ready to leave if he wasn't ready to make a move. She had a ring a month later. Sometimes you have to put your foot down to get what you want. I had my doubts, but they're still happily married with 2 great kids 20 yrs later. He's a good guy and a great father. I'm her older brother and was a bit of a player back in the day, so I think I'd pick up on it if he wasn't good for her.

Kevin - Truth for the majority of us is that we are scared. We are scared to end up in bad situations like our parents, we are scared to be vulnerable. You either have those with nothing to lose, entering into relationships every month because their bringing nothing to the table. (nothing to lose).
Most of us struggling to have healthy marriages/relationships either don't have an example, aren't authentic enough to be ourselves because of no relationship example or worried we will marry the parent that disappointed us. It takes courage to love. It takes courage to be vulnerable.
Therapy, most of us need it. A major underdiagnosed or largely unrecognized issue in our community - trauma of poverty. This is real. It's the basis of unrealistic financial expectations of a man. It's the idea that you have to "take him for all he's worth, because men don't stick around" thought process. It's working way too many jobs, stressing out your body because you never want to lack again.
The problem with thought process and intelligence is a SERIOUS problem. How do you graduate from college but you can't speak in complete sentences? How did you graduate high school and you can't answer or process a simple question? This is NOT FUNNY. Nor is the praise of anti-intellectualism in the community. It's not funny to be almost mentally disabled in the brain and act as if the way you're operating is normal. There are resources to help but you must acknowledge something is off.
Stop arguing and over-talking people. That is so rude and disrespectful. You're feelings and thoughts DO NOT TRUMP logic and engaging in a rational conversation. Stop it. STOP IT!
We need each other. Everyone chasing after the 1% doesn't make sense. That's like saying you'll take the bugatti or I'm walking.
There is nothing wrong with working together, many of our parents did. Be open to that but that requires bringing something to the table. Historically A.A. men are not in a position to have unlimited money. You need someone by your side that is realistic and willing to work with your business ideas or grow a business supporting one another for a foundation of a future generation. Hate to bruise the ego but most don't have it like that. (wealth). Stop plugging into what capitalism is telling you about how you should move and behave and plug into budgeting, investments and managing finances. "A fool and his money shall soon depart."
We need community once again. While other cultures aren't perfect when I watch Nollywood movies they depict what we now lack. Parents involved in approving your mate. Bride price. Family inclusion. Appreciation and acknowledgement of different education, income and class level which DOES matter when choosing a mate. Marriage is expected, family is an important aspect of life. In the U.S. we lack any understanding of that. We don't even respect our elders, tragic.

I hope that KS's show does have a very impactful positive effect in the community like Oprah has. I also worked in banking, and dealt with lots of women that were clueless, about finance and how to earn and save for the future. very few people can actually do the math.

@@ladye626 I don't know her circumstances but sometimes when you have a teenage mother they can be angry at their children. It goes back to Kevin's recent show about the Sister Daughter relationship. It can be very toxic.

1:39:00 I don't think I've ever heard pity from Kevin ever. But he truly felt sad for this woman. She was drinking heavily before she came on and is clearly troubled. Good on him for being kind.

They was cool women with good personalities but having to sleep with them was horrible. It's the same if a woman had to sleep with a guy they're not attracted to with a small penis. I don't know why they don't understand that

For the record, we women do drop jewels on younger women. However, they don’t listen. They’re very combative and they think they know everything. These younger women don’t listen to wise counsel from older women who have already been there, done that. So we tired Lol. Thankfully The Godfather is dropping jewels. We appreciate your work Sir.

Unfortunately the actual mothers in the household are telling the opposite. Its a horror some of the things my “christian” grandmother told me. And when we’re young we learn to trust some of the people close to us. The women who had mothers like this did listen and they speak about it. But even my own mother attacked me when all i said was I learned from her mistakes. If your own mother tears you down its hard to listen to a stranger. When Shaharazad Ali was speaking in her prime, many young women who did agree were not as outspoken to say that like people are today. Staying quiet on important subjects happened way more often back then in fear of being attacked like Kevin goes through all the time. There are more women speaking out today than there were then. We still need more though.

@UA-cam IsNazi Agreed. Shahrazad Ali is the first black woman whom I heard speaking on the subject. I agreed with her and told others about how everything she said made sense and felt right in my spirit. I caught hell from other women about it. Here we are today and of course Shahrazad Ali was right. I am happily married because I listened to her, did the work and rejected the ideas of modern women.
