I’m in week 10 of your course and savoring every lesson! I don’t want them to end. I’ve been going back and repeating early weeks because there is so much excellent content. My wish for the New Year is another course from you!!!
I would never never pay someone to personally play an instrument for my behalf and you call ‘teach’ me, did will pay someone to ‘teach’ him, also why doesn’t Dylan pay will to ‘teach’ him harmonica would that work I wonder?.
It was all happening at 2120 South Michigan Avenue on the South side of Chicago. Thanks Will, I’m going to pull out my Green Bulletin mic and practice.(add a little delay, too)
Thanks for the heads up Will. Awesome video. You got Wolf down fantastically. Great explanation about the tongue position to get the wide vibrato. Happy New year btw.
Invent a midi keyboard that plays like a diatonic harmonica. A playable illustration of a diatonic harmonica. Harmonica players will instantly know how to play such a keyboard. Print one out on paper then try to play it. Dub in the sound later.
Not as great as other harmonica players of the same ilk he isn’t, for instance listen to sunny boy Williamson or Paul butterfield, they are ‘great’ players ‘underated’ by who I’ve never heard anyone underate the wolf!
This is very cool, another standard of excellence Will Wilde tutorial. Just like his "Ultimate Blues Harmonica" course. I took it, and I'm a better, and more knowledgeable player because of it. It's loaded up with great detailed music examples and explanations. Plus Will's awesome playing and teaching skills to help the student along. My time and money well spent on Will's course. I hope there is a part 2 or another course to build on in the near future.
Hello! Can you tell me which exactly notes are different between the Wilde Tuned A and Em from the videos "THE WILDE BROTHERS - ROCK HARMONICA COLLABORATION!" and "Wilde Minor Tuning"? Are they Eb and Bb in the harmonica Em instead of E and B in the harmonica A? And if its possible to get Eb from E by draw banding in the harmonica A?
3D and 7D are flattened a semitone to minor thirds. 2B, 5B,6B and 9B are flattened a semitone to give you the minor 6th. Yes you can bend the E down to get an E flat on the A harp.
Excellent analysis and lesson Will! Gotta love all of those old Blues men like the Wolf man! Natural inborn talent, no lessons needed! Thanks for these videos! 👍👍

I'm lingering in week 4, because I just want to navigate that blues scale with absolute impunity. It's so worth every penny!
That's really great to hear Amy. More courses planned for later this year! :-)
THANK YOU UNIVERSE!!! ❤

@@astragreenActually, Dylan would probably benefit from a lesson or 2 from Will 🤔☝️😆
. Hi Will, great news available in all keys, never ceases to amaze me your talent thank you again. Cheers
Many thanks!
Your awesome thank you.❤
Didn’t know you were English! Hottest harp out there right now!
Wow . Great work Will . Thank you .
Trying to sound like the Wolf really forces me to see how deep I can get my harp in my mouth. He has some resonance.
thanks for the insight into that song, great as usual
Genial maestro saludos desde BUENOS AIRES ARGENTINA , ,,,
It gives me goosebumps to mention that I saw Howlin Wolf live.
Lucky man, where was that?
@@bknight882
1969, at the Ann Arbor Blues and Jazz Festival Michigan, USA.
There are recordings all over the internet
3 yrs before my time, seen various footage of him, must have been some stage presence

He had a powerful voice believe me
Great lesson. Thanks, Will!😎
Thanks Patrik!
Funny thing, I learned that same chord riff on an Adam Gussow video. Never knew it was used by Howlin Wolf.
Great video brother. I practice vibrato rarely. I'm going to practice more. Thanks buddy

Wow Will, you’re a brilliant teacher, teaching some great harp work especially on this! Great help, much appreciated.

cheers mate...please come back across the pond.this is one yank who thinks you're going to get even bigger in the music world.
So much of his playing was just feel. These are great tips about how it’s done but it really can’t be taught
Known for his voice ..The Wolf was a very underated harp player. Nice lesson Will !

I have a question , ¿Your course is a disponibility in spanish?
Sorry, it's only in English
Not that much ago, you did a video playing with a backing track pretty pretty close to "Back door man" of Howlin Wolf...

Dear Will: was Wolf tongue blocking or puckering? Hard for me to have that strong vibrato on the double stop while tongue blocking !!😢
It's difficult to tell from the recording, I couldn't say for sure. I'm playing it all puckered, I would just do whatever works best for you!
@@willharmonicawilde thank you ! I appreciate sincerely!

Cant wait for my Wilde Natural Minor Set to arrive in Gran Canaria!
It was shipped this morning!
@@willharmonicawilde Great!! Thanks!
Howlin’ Wolf had massive hands. Look at them engulf the harmonica and the mic at the same time with one single hand. They disappear. Amazing.
i think he was about 6'6
KEEP ON THE GOOD WORK WILL!B L O W M A N!B L O W!
Hi Will, great video. HWolf had big hands and a big chamber! What type of harp do you think he was playing?
Most likely a Hohner Marine Band
