If you have any questions about the 2023 Beta Xtrainer and the 2022 Rieju Ranger, please feel free to ask. I'll eventually make a video comparing the two, but for now, I'm happy to answer any questions you have.
Before I do, let me start by saying that I really like both bikes a lot! I would be happy with either one. I mention the power difference often, but realistically they have the same power with about a few hundred RPM shift in the powerband. The Rieju has a harder midrange hit and a little less torque right off the bottom, while the Beta has a smoother powerband with gobs of torque right off the bottom. Drag racing them, they are very close. I think whichever one hooks up better would win.
I like the oil injection on the Beta for pure convenience and the starter. I added a kick starter to mine since my battery died once. I like the jetting out of the box better on the Rieju. The Rieju has better range for some reason, and the seat is more comfortable. I prefer the size of the Beta. It actually is taller than the Rieju. My son prefers the Rieju size. I get about the same vibes on both, even though the Beta is counterbalanced.
Overall, out of the three of us that have ridden them, my 6'-2" brother who rides the KTM prefers the Beta. I'm up in the air and will ride either, and my 5'-10" son prefers the Rieju. Look for a video covering everything in the future.

I've heard several times that the xtrainer is a little more unstable in fast trails, do you confirm?

@@nytrex_tlnb I will say that when comparing the Xtrainer to say a KTM 500 or most other full-sized bikes, it will feel much more twitchy at higher speeds. When comparing the Xtrainer to the Ranger, I feel the Ranger is slightly more stable. Although, it's not noticeable for the type of riding I do. I ride mainly 2nd/3rd gear singletrack and honestly at these speeds you won't notice much of any difference. The suspension is slightly better on the Rieju but I never notice any stability issues at these speeds on either. When we start hitting the fire roads I can cruise comfortably on the Xtrainer and Ranger at 45mph, but if you want to cruise say 55 mph they both have their quirks. The Xtrainer does feel slightly more twitchy and the Rieju feels like it's revving higher. I'm not sure if the gearing is any different or if it's just the power bands they have, but the Rieju is definitely revving higher at those speeds. Neither would make a good desert racer and both are most comfortable cruising no more than 45mph. They can go much faster, don't get me wrong but that is the sweet spot for cruising on the road. Back to the stability, unless you are cruising fast 4th gear trails you won't notice. On the flip side, these bikes don't have a ton of top-end hit and if you plan on riding fast 4th gear or faster trails I'd suggest the Rieju MR racing model or a beta RR model. You'd be much happier with the power. But the long and short of it is cruising 2nd/3rd gear singletrack trails you won't notice any stability issues on either bikes nor will one feel much better than the other. They are both very good!!

@@notgamingwithmax Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a detailed reply. I didn't know where the stability difference between a full sized bike and bikes like ranger or xtrainer was really noticeable nor that the difference between the xtrainer and ranger was so small. 45mph is plenty, even for the road.
Both bikes seem really good and both are the same price here in France so the choice is tough. However, I have more than enough time to decide since I need to finish my studies, get my license (it's mandatory for enduro in my country) and to work to have the money to buy my first bike. I'm looking for the bike that would suit me best to have a precise goal to achieve and because I like learning about the different bikes so I look forward to seeing your comparison video.

@@nytrex_tlnb Sure thing, no problem. I'm glad I can help. Since my channel is so small I'm happy to answer any questions you might have. I just got back from Michigan and will be uploading a small video about the Xtrainer soon.

@@notgamingwithmax It's sad honestly that your channel is so small like you said. The image and sound quality are great, the riding is good and relaxing to watch on flowing trails. The algorithm just doesn't show your videos, even with the search bar, I was regularly looking for videos with the ranger and yours showed after like the 10th search and not on top of the page.
If I have any specific questions I'll think about asking you.
      Thanks again.

Do you know where Wolverine is? Go a few miles west and south. It's part of the Tomahawk trail system. you can find it on this map. midnr.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=1710727ba3ec4c64928110fdb4f7799d You can also access it from this parking area if you ride the trails east maps.app.goo.gl/xuJvNTcYTuwkamxHA Parts of the A loop are pretty neat as well but most of it is chopped up from side x sides and 4 wheelers. C and B loop are for motorcycles only. For most of it.
