You’re my go to when it comes to ridgid reviews they need to throw a sponsor your way getting the subcompact set tommorow 👍 with max output batteries oh baby
I just online ordered the latest Brushless Hammer Drill and the R86001 brushed drill featured here with an impact driver and 2 batteries. Can't wait to find out how these compare to my Bosch and Milwaukee tools. I'm surprised the base tool isn't featured in more channels, though. It looks like a nice entry level tool and a cut above the entry level Ryobi I used to have
Just watched to see if your brushed R86001 drill has that metal/chrome ring at the end of chuck that keeps spinning after the motor brake stops drill, and I hear yours doing it too, guess that's normal for that drill...
@@ToolswithSoAlz Yeah I recently got the Sub Compact drill to try 3 weeks ago so far I love the Power for the size of it and a 4ah battery seems to run forever on this unit
I'm not surprised. If you haven't run Ridgid then you might think they are a lesser brand. I have shown Ridgid beating Makita, Dewalt and just about everyone else out there. I love my Ridgid tools.
I appreciate you watching. I was pushing them well past what they are supposed to be doing in speed 2. I love those subcompact though. Please like and subscribe.
You did a good job of showing the differences and the types and generations doesn't mean technical it's not named it but the subcompact if it was to be named the name and system they were using before octane I would say Gen 6 x brushless just saying sure either you or someone will do a test of the different evolution to the hammer drill because from what I have seen of that Max output hammer drill that octane and blow it out the water that's without the other two batteries being available yet but I'm sure it might still stand the same I'm sure the Gen 5x brushless would stand up with that new one coming out just my thoughts thank you for sharing your video
@@bluemantom77 I've been planning on get the set as soon as they are released. So, I might as well do a video. I can even compare the new multi-tool to the Jobmax.
@@ToolswithSoAlz I put a link in my new video in my description to your channel hopefully that brings you some traffic and you got to look out for each other thanks for what you do

Thank you for that. The subcompact set is fun and I grab them a lot more than I thought I would. I hope you like them as much as I do.
Nice job but.... um... why is the video backwards?
No clue. It just comes out that way. I tell the wife I shoot everything in Australian.
Before I forget, thank you for watching.
Haha, backwards is a reality based perception. Some of us don't see those things 😂
Yeah it's flipped, I knew something was off!

It is very good

Yes it does
The subcompact beat my gen5x brushless @ driving in 5" ledger screws. I was shocked 😳
I was surprised by how much power that little drill driver has as well.
I just bought the subcompact set :)
Nice
I would like to see side by side impacts.
Here you go.

As long as your not needing a Hammer Drill any one of these drills will work fine
You're right. They all work great. I really like them all but was very surprised by the power of the subcompact.

Did you see how much hate I got for exchanging a Makita for a Ridgid? They don't even know

The Mickey Mouse shorts
A gift from the wife. Might as well wear them.
The video is backwards and is really messing with me hard to watch but overall good review
I have since had to change my camera because of this issue.
To improve your chanel is to test diferent brand each orters
You will be happy to know that I have several videos pitting different brands against one another
I'm not sure what that really says about their other drills but I love seeing the small drills kicking butt. Cool showdown, thanks!
