Nice interview. He is indeed Jaco's son, but the playing is all Felix. And while he is very aware and respectful of his heritage, Felix is not content with just riding the coattails of his heritage. I like that about Felix, and I think his father would be proud.
Shut up.
Felix is right by saying PASSING ....not DYING...Jaco could be VERY PROUD Felix....VERY PROUD
Great guy! I'm getting tired of the whole "he's the son of Jaco" thing tho. All interviews seem to gravitate towards that. He's got his own voice on the instrument, I think thats what his interviews should be all about.
To be far, the majority of this interview is about his, Felix's, ideas. I get what you mean though I don't think there will ever be an interview of the kids without bringing up Jaco because it's just more insight to the life of a fallen giant!
Agree 100% man! Most people can't let go of the past. I follow the Allman/Betts Band and it's the same shit with them. Old Jackbags come to the shows and yell out their Dads songs. It's pathetic!
He's the son of one of the biggest elect. bass game-changers to walk the western world. Jaco will always be brought up when this dude is interviewed. Face it, get over it.
@@culturalrealism5395 Face it you're a Jackbag you Dorito eatin' bitch!
Hes literally the son of god. What do you expect from us?
The Zappa kids have the same quandary as far as their father being the shadow caster over the kids talents. It's just the nature of it. And there will never be liberation from that legacy, especially in the wake of senseless tragedy... But as long as Jaco's sons have found peace and themselves individually, they can certainly pave their own path.
Nicely put man!
Yes, very succinctly put Brian.
or just change your last name
so humble whoh!
Yeah, Felix is great!
I enjoyed the interview. The stories keep Jaco's legend alive. Im ok with it.
R.I.P. Jaco, he would be proud of Felix and the children
Definitely! Thanks, James.
Well done sir, your interviewing technique really shone through. It really allowed the young lad to express himself verbally. Lord only knows how you kept your arm so still with that mike...😊
Thanks, Venus Isle! It looks like I was resting it on the arm if the chair. 😂
Great interview , very polaid, cool Felix !!
JACO would be PROUD!
I doubt! Thanks, salmaniacs!

What's the music at the intro?
I wish I could remember, but I can’t, sorry. It’s some pretty cool guitar improv, isn’t it. Thanks, Han H.

Too funny! 😂
He's got his father's thumbs lol..
Not just the thumbs, take a good look at his hands, long articulate fingers, just like his father's. Listen to him play, it's all in the hands, just like his father.
