    I respect his method immensely! Been notching tabs and using a bar folder for years. This is the proper method for sure. Not sure I'm ready to change my ways yet 😂

    Nice! I like seeing that quality doesn’t sacrifice production, and vies versa

      Whatever we practice we get fast at, but first we get good

    Why don’t you use the wuko for the first bend mate?

    • @asm101
      @asm101  3 роки тому

      I tried and it's hard to bring the bread pan folds over with the wuko... you end up having to get out the folding pliers to bring them around anyway

    That’s still to long when you could just use one set of snips notch and bend with a bar folder in most scenarios with steep roofs you’re gonna end up needing a drag screw anyway that holds the panel from sliding down with a standing seam system especially places where there’s snow load on the snow guard at the bottom you’re gonna have a tremendous amount of weight that you’re going to need a drag screw so at that point you’re gonna end up putting a hole up in the top underneath the cap anyways

      @asm101  2 роки тому

      Hidden fastener system...ie standing seam.... Should remain just that... There's other more concealed ways of keeping a panel from sliding down

      @@asm101 yes but technically that would still be a hidden Fastener system there’s no exposed screws the screws are hidden under the Because you’re gonna end up putting in his enclosure to hook your cap on there’s many ways to skin the cat per say but for me I could notch twice as many panels and still have reached that same Quality of work
