49:45 Miller has talked about it too. While traveling all around the world together and growing up together. Had to be such amazing times. Probably went way to quick for them. Great discussion by some friends. Lol
Truly this is the quintessential Spittin' Chiclets. Even the really easygoing guys that'll talk to the media all day long, they get a little more out of them, but Whit starting out chirping Sid on a personal level and breaking him out of Media Mode instantly turns it into the best Crosby interview there's ever been. It's different when you're just chatting with the buds!
Never liked Sydney Crosby (red wings fan here). But after this interview, I admit I judged him wrong. He seems like a genuinely great dude. Not conceited and ego centric (like Alex Ovechkin). Just a humble champion. Earned my respect.
Aaron Deaton Ovechkin is a fucking legend. Doesn’t walk around with private security to keep him safe and out of sight. Wins the cup and literally celebrates with the fans. Not by riding on a float thru the city but by running the streets of DC. Both 2 different guys and I respect both but ovi shows personality. Something many nhlers don’t seem to have on the ice
I love this interview I think this is the 3rd time I watched it and the one with Nate. I met Nathan at the Truro Golf Club 2 or 3 yrs ago and had a photo taken with him. Such a nice guy. Sid is simply the best.

sid defending his buddy "hey, he's better now!" 😂😂
What a great watch. Love Sid.
This was so fun to watch! Great interview guys!!
Not even a Sid fan but he's everything you could ask for in a pro athlete, on and off the ice. Stand up dude that I love to see my team beat. Will be a sad day when the NHL no longer has him in it.
Die hard Ovechkin fan and Caps fan but I do gotta say that Sid seems like a pretty stand up guy
I started playing hockey cuz of Ovie (idol)but come on bruh hes been like that since day 1 u shouldve known
@@Clowis Gretzky got me playing back in the day
I wear #8 in basketball because of ovi. I cant really do it in hockey because I'm a goalie
31:48 is that not the most genuinely excited face you've ever seen in your life? Biz has probably wanted to know that since the moment that incident happened. you can tell
haha totally. Looked like a 7 year old on Christmas morning.
Amazing interview by far the best I've ever seen with Crosby. Awesome just to see Biss and Whit reminiscing on old times. Job well done boys this thing should have 100M views. The candidness is unreal.
Nice to hear them talk glowingly about Ziggy. My all time favorite player!
Get malkin on here some day
NateDawg Gaming lol
Jesus we’d need a translator for that big goof lol
NateDawg Gaming geno score goal when geno want

Russian Machine never breaks
Geno is Gold!
I AM SCORE, LADIES LIKE
Gotta love geno
Angry Geno is score
One thing is for sure, Sid can be as humble as he wants but he definitely should have been on the 2006 Olympic team as a rookie.
Biz is so excited that Sid came on. Like a little boy. Great.
49:45 Miller has talked about it too. He said because of Sid’s backhand being so good he was anticipating that would be the move he would make, take it hard to the net and try BH. “I guessed wrong”...he basically had no idea a shot was coming. Perfectly played by Sid. 👌🏻🇨🇦
1:11:39 Interesting to hear a superstar in any sport acknowledge that he knows he has a higher level understanding of his sport than most and that he consciously has to work on remembering that when communicating with teammates.
This has aged abnormally well. And it will continue to. The greatest player of all-time. Sidney Crosby.
the organic laughter when biz says 'good luck beating the coyotes' was the funniest part
Wish this came out before I already listened to the Pod...guess I’ll be listening again haha.
I am a Dallas Stars fan, so I have no bias. Sid is one of the greatest of all time, and he’s an iconic Canadian. He’s a humble guy-a true hockey and Canadian quality. Any true hockey fan should have nothing but the greatest respect for him.
Love watching Whitney making Sid crack up again and again.
AWESOME interview with a gentleman hockey player! Very classy! I felt like I was eavesdropping on a private, rec room conversation! Fantastic job to all involved!
What a great podcast! Whitney is a very good interviewer
What a great interview...only you guys can get Sid to be just Sid and talk relaxed...Amazing Job
Nice to know a little more about Crosby always been a private guy.
@Deep hug stop exaggerating
this show is amazing.... so underrated. I'm a NYR fan and love Sid.... Don't understand how people can hate great players. I guess insecure and immature. Seems like a heck of a kid!
Lifelong Caps and Ovi fan. Sids the man.
So is Ovi man....truly, from a Pens fan since 1989.
classy stuff
One of the best interviews ever
Its great to just imagine. How much fun these guys all had. As young, wealthy, talented, stars. Cutting up and making fun of each other.
To see/hear sid sitting on a couch talking about playing guys like datysuk and zetterberg is a trip.
This was awesome! As a fan in pittsburgh we haven't really got to see Sidney open up
Never liked Sydney Crosby (red wings fan here).
Something many nhlers don’t seem to have on the ice
man you really don't know ovechkin if you think hes conceited and ego centric. Dude is one of the most open and least bitchy nhlers
I love this interview I think this is the 3rd time I watched it and the one with Nate. I met Nathan at the Truro Golf Club 2 or 3 yrs ago and had a photo taken with him. Such a nice guy.
Sid is simply the best.
any 95-98'ers here? going to be a sad time when sid n ovie retire :( grew up playing hockey lookin upto these guys
As a Quebec native, Talbot and Dupuis were two AWESOME grinders. Thanks for mentioning them 👌 Great interview
I just want to remind people how good Letang was and how DEADLY he was when he dropped the mitts
AJ 'NICE GUY' HAWK Big tanger fan right here, he’s my fav player and got me through touch hockey injuries and wow love Tanger
Wow.... love hearing hockey players being hockey players with out the need to be careful what they said as they would with the media. Love the stories , Crosby not my fav BUT this interview makes me doubt my Crosby dislikes. Great job cant wait to dive into more of these interviews.!! Outstanding job boys!!
I was at the parade in 17 one of the best feelings in the world seeing the cup in person. SID the goat for for real 🐐
Who taught him the ropes as a rook. Mario Lemieux that is your GOAT. Sid would agree with me too.
Richard Adams he’s my goat and it’s not putting Lemieux down at all he saved the franchise
Damn, what a phenomenal interview with Sid the Kid! Great job guys ... was waiting for a Claude G question when talking about Philly. Next time ...
Unreal interview
This interview was actually awesome
Whitney seems like an amazing guy to have on a hockey team. Keeps the mood light and doesn't even have to try to be funny.
Sid is so composed, but the bad breath thing got him pissed i love that lmao
