    Building a nuclear power plant near an active volcano. Makes total sense.

      the volcano heat powers the nukes, thats where you get the thermo in "thermonuclear" bomb thermo means heat

    Just to give a bit of constructive criticism: I think many people (including me) are thrown of by the fact that on a video that's titled "Volcanic Eruptions Caught on Camera" you are always standing right in the middle, basically completely shutting down the fun/reason to watch this video. Either make yourself smaller and put "yourself" in a corner of the video or remove "yourself" comepletely. And the actual Volcano Eruption clips are so short (and you are talking over it the whole time) that it kind of ruins the point of the video.

    lmao number 8 you don't even show the eruption happening and you made the sonic boom 10x quieter than what it is in the originally video, what's even the point of making this list if you don't even give us the clips we wanna see and hear

    • @icecl0ud
      @icecl0ud 6 років тому +6

      Not to mention the Mt St Helen's eruption was entirely a simulation.

    • @ShellyAnn1a
      @ShellyAnn1a 6 років тому +6

      icecloud - Actually that is a video made up from the stills taken by the camera that survived the eruption, one frame every couple of seconds. You put them together and you get a time lapse video. I live about 180 miles south of Mount St. Helens, we felt it and heard it. Following that eruptions we had warnings about a potential eruption of Mount Hood, Lava Butte, Newberry Crater and Mount Mazama, which is another 70 miles south of were I live. - - - //es//A 70y/o Avid Outdoors Lady

      Ah nice, I stand corrected.

    • @markturner8597
      @markturner8597 6 років тому +2

      The video was made by creating a simulation (or video morph) based on the photos that were taken. The photos themselves were not enough for a proper time lapse as we understand them to be today. Most of the frames in the video were taken from the simulation, but they just fill in the frames in the timeline that were in-between when the photos were taken.

    just clarifying this ;D
    extinct volcano=never erupting again
    dormant volcano=can erupt at any time
    active volcano=erupting now

    • @IcedCat559
      @IcedCat559 5 років тому

      active volcano= also going to kill u if u don't leave the building now and go somewhere far away and live.

    Mt. Pinatubo eruption isn't dramatic enough? It put 13 cubic kilometers of rock and ash in the sky, and cooled the planet and dimmed global sunlight by a couple percent for over 5 years! There's plenty of footage...

    I want for Cumbje Vieja and yellowstone...
    P.S. Pinatubo eruption was the strongest in modern history...WHY is not on the list?
    He kills 800 people, create dust falls, lahars and volcanic bombs...
    "The effects of the eruption were felt worldwide. It ejected roughly 10,000,000,000 tonnes (1.1×10^10 short tons) or 10 km^3 (2.4 cu mi) of magma, and 20,000,000 tonnes (22,000,000 short tons) of SO2, bringing vast quantities of minerals and toxic metals to the surface environment."
    Thx gods we have good winds, if not - summer less year.

    How a volcano eruption happens.
    Large volcano:I Think im gonna fart...
    Other volcano on other side:TRY TO HOLD IT IN!
    Large volcano:I Cant!
    (Large volcano farts and then the fart was lava)
    Dont take this seriously XD the fart is the lava that will fall down.. bc the face is on a wall of a volcano that the lava won't slowly fall into
