@Gino Toribio i couldn't agree more! this "era" heaven & shh are out of this world awesome! Dress to kill is a great album. Shinichi is the producer, he is signed to AVEX. Pledis could never find a producer to make music this good.
I dont know why this song is receiving so much dislike from fans, I think the songs great and it matches After School's concepts unlike Lady Luck (whatever the hell that hot mess was), I think people who appreciate disco-inspired tracks with a bit of 90's house elements would appreciate this more, so I actually really love this song.
El Canal de Alex Haha! Thanks! :P But seriously, what in the actual hell was that song for? I feel like it was meant for AKB not the lovely AS ladies! :/
Mitsu Kinomoto HAHAHAH well, I have no idea. I don't even have it on my iPod. I don't like it at all. But hey, it's the last japan song Kahi was on, so...There's that.(?)
First I thought this song was boring but after hearing it again I started to like it .. and now I love it. It has such a different vibe then other kpop idk
I was just reminded of this MV after seeing CLC's Black Dress. I think this concept suits them well. I would've never imagined it to be disliked by a significant number of fans. I'm genuinely surprised by this. MV-wise, Shh is undoubtedly my favourite out of the Japanese releases. Although song-wise and concept-wise I prefer Heaven which is from the same album. I don't think Lady Luck is an overly cute concept for them and I think it matches them nearly just as much as Shh, although Shh is a far better song.
In an alternate reality, this kind of video and music production is popular in kpop. This song is almost 5 mins and i didn't get bored, no needless adlibs and lines, even the choreo is unique/refreshing still
the full album Dress To kill is the best! I'm looking forward for a comeback, it really doesn't matter if it's in Korean or Japanese. the music, the voices, the concepts, everything it's just awesome!
this is a dope as japanese track by after school! its so unique from all the other kpop release in japan. i can't believe i only found this now..... also the concept of the music video is really refreshing, simple yet effective in my opinion. This deserves more views.
Easily one of their best. I can see why it won't appeal to long time fans, particularly fans of their Korean output, but I love pretty much anything Shinichi Osawa produces and this is pure gold.
I heard a lot of people complaning about the song ... And i absolutly LOVE IT ! It's a style i've never seen in kpop before miwed with electro it's awesome i love afterschool's japanese album !
I don't know what you mean by a "real" mv ... look , i prefer the dance version because i think the concept is cool that way. And you know , sometimes , cheap is cool =)
Victor Yao Pledis Entertainment handles AfterSchool operations in Korea. However, Avex handles their operations in Japan. If you notice the korean version of AfterSchool videos, they are made in HQ instead of japanese ones.
Ever since Kahi left...AS HAS been going down the electro pop road. I was worried this group would go downhill without Kahi...but I was wrong. I love the new sound and like AS just as much as before.
Dimi S you took the words right out of my mouth! people need to remember that this is Afterschool and not Girls Generation. They both have different styles but i guess the first thing that comes to peoples mind when they see a large girl group is GG since they are extremely popular.
I actually liked the concept, can't you guys appreciate minimalism at times? You guys always love flashy and poppy beat-y songs. This one by far is my favorite Japanese song of After School and the best PV from them. The only common thing I always see on PVs (not just of After School's but others) is that they love being minimalistic. So this was a good thing for After School but maybe familiar for other Japanese fans out there.
This song has a house rythm, some kind of 90's clubs sound that many teenagers don't understand. For me it's too good for average k-pop fans. Enjoy it!! Nice work, AS ♥♡♥
It's interesting how K-pop groups get more experimental music when they go to Japan. This song and video didn't catch me at first but they're actually really cool.
Me too... Don't worry, I think it's just a matter of taste... I love this type of song and AFTERSCHOOL fit in it perfectly... And the choreography is well done!
They are really great songs, especially Love Beat! I wish for them to sing it live one day XD It is the same with Dressing Room, when I play it I lose myself in the music.
sigh guysssss. Just because you guys aren't used to this new concept they're going for, doesn't mean that the song isn't of quality, people would say they're disappointed and were expecting something 'better'. Probably some full on electro J-pop or something. But that's the charm and beauty of this song, no flashy colors or choreography just a clean and simplistic performance, and Afterschool has pulled it off beautifully.
Great Video Concept! Really goes well with the Song, and The Choreo is really maxxed out because of the way the lighting plays... a great release by the After School!
hehe I always end up liking after school's songs, but this one I liked more than usual. plus the style suits the girls perfectly, nana rocking the masculine concept.
I LOVED this and I'm not a After School fan xD I think this video is outrageous beautiful and kind artistic. And the music is REALLY good too! Way to go After School :)
People say its flat and boring. Yet I am in love it. Music doesn't need to make you dance in your seat, but sometimes good music is well, good music when it makes you feel better. This song is sultry, sexy, and amazing!
Really solid song. Takes a few listens to get into but it's a really nice change to their super electro Japanese songs. Jung-Ah's bridge section is really, really good . I hope everyone gives this more than a single listen because it's a really great, complex track
I actually like the video. Big points for simplicity. Very early nineties Euro-dance style wardrobe, production design and editing. Oh, and the Girls are not hyper-sexualized. Some recent K-pop and J-pop groups have gone overboard with the short skirts, makeup and gyrating waists. You can be beautiful and classy, these girls and this video just proved that.
The girls from afterschool can be Classy,Cute & Sexy I love that they can do more then the typical overly cute or sexy concept. I can't wait for their next comeback this year! also please support Orange Caramel they are having their comeback march 8th ^.^
The ones who usually get more lines are usually more fluent in Japanese. so dont blame the company for line distribution.. anyway i liked this song.. not something i would listen to over and over and dance with it everytime but its relaxing.
This song is not those quick fast pop that people preferred nowadays but damn, it got a subtle sexy and intellectual groove in it that's so sick love deep house music but I preferred it without the shh shh shh part.
I dig it personally. The 80's funky vibe has a nice feeling to it with the catchy melody, bare faces, and masculine yet sexy styling, it's simple and clean. It steers away from the norm, and i feel that's what AS does best. And of course I have to fanboy about Nana and her lovely black hair.
the world was not ready for this song
Because it's more good for them.😂😂
Ikr? I feel like this would've been a huge hit in Europe, had it been released in the 90s.
It's actually one of their best songs and videos. But people always want to hear the same crap...
oMG YES
@Gino Toribio i couldn't agree more! this "era" heaven & shh are out of this world awesome! Dress to kill is a great album. Shinichi is the producer, he is signed to AVEX. Pledis could never find a producer to make music this good.
This is by far the best song I've heard from any K-pop group releasing music in Japan. This is so understated.
This song deserves more views and recognition. Very minimalist and tbh better than most Japanese releases by other Korean girl groups.
batdog Wikipedia says Mondo Grosso produced this. So if it's vaguely Japanese to you his production style is probably why.
Shh is one of the greatest japanese pop songs I've ever heard. Really miss After School.
music of "Shinichi Osawa" alias "MONDO GROSSO" (really, this worth the pain to go and listen other musics of him)
I dont know why this song is receiving so much dislike from fans, I think the songs great and it matches After School's concepts unlike Lady Luck (whatever the hell that hot mess was), I think people who appreciate disco-inspired tracks with a bit of 90's house elements would appreciate this more, so I actually really love this song.
"whatever the hell that hot mess was" HAHAHAHAHAHAH genius
El Canal de Alex Haha! Thanks! :P But seriously, what in the actual hell was that song for? I feel like it was meant for AKB not the lovely AS ladies! :/

This song aged like the finest wine ever produced
If they were promoted like SM did to Girls Generation, this song could be a bomb.
This song, the music and the dance is absolutely great!
one of the best songs ever
this is the best j-pop song ever
HEAVEN AND SHH ARE MASTERPIECES NOTHING COMPARES!!!!!
shh and heaven are
avex please release this on international spotify,,, the world thirsts for this certified bop
In an alternate reality, this kind of video and music production is popular in kpop. This song is almost 5 mins and i didn't get bored, no needless adlibs and lines, even the choreo is unique/refreshing still

I think the same! every single song is a master piece, I'm in love with all of the songs specially yes no yes
This song was too way ahead of its time.
sounds like a voguing song
This is probably my favorite song from After school. Gosh, this song is still really good even after 2 years. I'm waiting for a comeback 😭😩
This song was way ahead of its time
Fr
this is a dope as japanese track by after school!
its so unique from all the other kpop release in japan.
i can't believe i only found this now.....
also the concept of the music video is really refreshing, simple yet effective in my opinion.
This deserves more views.
well the view count is slightly messed up as Avex didn't release it for a few days after it was actually public and uploaded by others
Easily one of their best. I can see why it won't appeal to long time fans, particularly fans of their Korean output, but I love pretty much anything Shinichi Osawa produces and this is pure gold.
it's not boring, it's just that you guys likes pop generic music that's all. This better.
Omg. Yes
This ^^^
I love the direction After School is taking! Please bring it back to their Korean comeback and Korean versions of this song and heaven!!
I heard a lot of people complaning about the song ... And i absolutly LOVE IT ! It's a style i've never seen in kpop before miwed with electro it's awesome i love afterschool's japanese album !

THIS AGED SO FVCKIN GOOD
I still believe this MV / song is a masterpiece!
The girls look smokin'! Nanaaa!!! Jungah!!!
A bit late but there is a dance version on youtube as well, just search for AFTERSCHOOL shh dance ver and you will find it =)
After School !! Fighting
Black & White !! Beautiful
Who's listening to it in 2023?? 👀
only song to ever exist like.
Who'd have thought After School could come out with a better Japanese song than most of their Korean releases?
very diff from the usual kpop and jpop stuff..great job after school!
I actually liked the concept, can't you guys appreciate minimalism at times? You guys always love flashy and poppy beat-y songs. The only common thing I always see on PVs (not just of After School's but others) is that they love being minimalistic. A lot more mature and classy than most of what is being released lately.
Well done ladies.
Still listening to this song. This is such a good song! 😍💕💞✨✨
I really like this song! It has that kind of subtle beat to it.
Ljh
This song has a house rythm, some kind of 90's clubs sound that many teenagers don't understand. For me it's too good for average k-pop fans. Enjoy it!! Nice work, AS ♥♡♥
at first i didnt like it.. after a while.. it grows on you
***** lool
IT GREW IN ME WHEN I SAW KAEUN.
It won me the over they moment I heard that baseline.
It's interesting how K-pop groups get more experimental music when they go to Japan. This song and video didn't catch me at first but they're actually really cool.
ain't that the TRUTH?!
Still not even 500k views for the song?! Why people why?! It is so good, I bought both Shh and Dress To Kill because of it last week.
This song makes AS becomes more different from other group very different!!!!!
The song has its unique distinctive style, love it!!!
still the best k-pop song ever
Guys, this is Shinichi Osawa at his best!
I can't be the only one who really likes this song, right?
I think it's really good!
Me too... Don't worry, I think it's just a matter of taste... I love this type of song and AFTERSCHOOL fit in it perfectly... And the choreography is well done!
me too me too, im addicted XD
discovering this song is the best thing that has happened to me
光と影のシンプルな背景が、メンバーのダンスの上手さを際立てさせているような気がする。メロデイーと合っていて、すごくかっこいい。
セクシー系のより、こっちの方が個人的に好み。
put this on international spotify pleeeeease i'm begging you avex,,,,,
Amazing production!
This song and video are absolutely INCREDIBLE! Talk about underappreciated. This is pretty much art...
Why am I just now hearing this song? I am absolutely blown away.
I hope you have taken the time to listen to the other songs in the Dress o Kill album, all of them are great.
This song, "heaven" and "Love beat" >> You enter in other dimension >> I put especially when i'm borring in this earth :-)
They are really great songs, especially Love Beat! I wish for them to sing it live one day XD It is the same with Dressing Room, when I play it I lose myself in the music.
Hope a comeback too
They need to comeback to Korea with music this good, seriously.
I feel like i could be hearing this in a clothing store like forever 21 or H&M or like a runway. That's the vibe it gives me
jess thai true af! I thought I was the only one who imagined this song on some fancy runway show
yall.. this song was produced by mondo grosso. I'm shook
No wonder i love it so much
I'm so very uncultured so thank you for introducing me to mondo grosso
PLEASE COMEBACK
sigh guysssss. I like Japanese producer 大沢伸一.
I honestly don't get the hate. To me, this is one of the best K-Pop(?) songs released this year.
I know, hence the question mark. I was just too lazy to figure out who made the song :/
After School was my favorite. Such different and creative concepts with the coolest music. Sad how it died down. All the members are so talented.
can they put this on spotify already
I LOVED this and I'm not a After School fan xD
I think this video is outrageous beautiful and kind artistic. And the music is REALLY good too! Way to go After School :)
People say its flat and boring. Yet I am in love it. Music doesn't need to make you dance in your seat, but sometimes good music is well, good music when it makes you feel better. This song is sultry, sexy, and amazing!
I LOVE this song!! And the pv is so simple yet chic. After School are the best!!!

I love the new style of Nana she looks beautiful in every way.
The only song ever tbh
I actually like the video. Big points for simplicity. Very early nineties Euro-dance style wardrobe, production design and editing. Oh, and the Girls are not hyper-sexualized. Some recent K-pop and J-pop groups have gone overboard with the short skirts, makeup and gyrating waists. You can be beautiful and classy, these girls and this video just proved that.
This song is freaking amazing!!!
i fear no one beats this
It's going to be 4 years since we got this masterpiece. 😭😭😭
REAL music.
This MV concept is very slick!

The best afterschool realese.

i love this song so much¡¡
I'm sure you do!!!
perfect! personaly, I love the song and choreography, it's so different and that's the why I like it so much :) and girls are wonderful!
SUCH AESTHETIC
Afterschool's new minimalistic style for their Japanese releases is freaking amazing. This and Heaven are some of the best pop I've heard in a while.
the fact this doesn't even have a million views is demonic, psychotic, deranged . . .
Pure deep house 👐💖
I love it ! Just perfect !!! AfterSchool jjang !
I Like the MV Concept. when 2 Members danced in the Middle. One of them is just a Shadow.
After School... What a CLASS ACT! Love the song and the video!
flawless!
love nana's voice
Immanuel Maha Putra
Lee Kaeun ❤️ Always going to support you
this slays sm
I can't stop watching it!
It's amazing!
Continue supporting them guys!
NANA!!!!
E-Young !!
I'd really like to see them go back to their roots sometime and come out with a hip-hop/pop album. Something reminiscent of Ah and Diva.
The girls from afterschool can be Classy,Cute & Sexy
I love that they can do more then the typical overly cute or sexy concept.
I can't wait for their next comeback this year!
also please support Orange Caramel they are having their comeback march 8th ^.^
sorry i was wrong there comeback in March 11 /.\
Shinichi Osawa doing it again. As in his best productions with Eri Nobuchika. Gotta love this one too.
LIZZY~
Wow how am I just finding this song? It's a whole BOP and way ahead of its time.
The ones who usually get more lines are usually more fluent in Japanese. so dont blame the company for line distribution..
anyway i liked this song.. not something i would listen to over and over and dance with it everytime but its relaxing.
Shh! Why haven't I watched the video...idk but
Damn I got hooked!! I love videos like this! Simple...colorless...full of dance! Addicting!
dang heaven and this song are like the best songs after school has put out to date
They have got at least 9 songs that completely rock.
Did this really come out a year ago! Where have I been!
yes!and don't know!!!
PLEASE UPLOAD THIS IN A VERY HIGH QUALITY I'M BEGGING
This song is not those quick fast pop that people preferred nowadays but damn, it got a subtle sexy and intellectual groove in it that's so sick love deep house music but I preferred it without the shh shh shh part.
Years later, and this song still bangs. I'll always be sad that it's so underrated
