The S&P Dow Jones data that you showed regarding index outperformance against active funds, it seems an active manager in Mid/Small cap space has better chance of outperformance than an active manager in Large cap space. Mid and Small cap universe is much wider and less researched. Large cap universe is small and well researched. Very informative video. Thank you.

By adding subsidiary income of companies to Nifty Earnings , Nifty earnings have been increased. Actual and true comparison would be if one changes the past data also accordingly. Today , Nifty PE is 24 or so but actually is high if you remove subsidiary earnings and therefore reduce Nifty earnings. So one is not doing apple to apple comparison.
Thank you Ishmohit, always love your content. I think nifty PE went down to 32 from 40 in April due to consolidated EPS. It went to 26 from 32 due to earnings not from 40. I think we should retroactively update historical EPS with consolidated earnings for Apple to Apple comparison.

Such an educational and knowledgable content, hats off!
