Omg same, all of them just hanging out near the edge, my palms are sweaty!
Oddly enough when you’re there in the moment, as long as you have balance and solid footing (no loose sand), you aren’t as scared off falling. I remember standing at the edge of a cliff like this at the Grand Canyon. I’m scared of heights, but for some reason I was more thrilled of standing at the edge of a cliff, than I was scared to fall off of it.
Just wanted to share my experience.
I mean heck, these guys are pretty much adrenaline junkies also.
Wow. I cannot even imagine the thoughts going through your mind as you're free falling down this cliff and then realize "oh crap my leg is tangled!" yet you seemed to so calmly solve the problem and enjoy the ride

Mine shafts are generally dry ... So that really wouldn't harm it.. id trust my gear over someone else's every day of the week.
@@ChrisLifts710 Even if it got wet, that shouldn't hurt it. I have a Buckingham tower harness. It's gotten wet numerous times. The worst that's happened is a bit of light surface rust on a couple of the D rings and I got some white mold on it once when it was stored in a damp environment. All of the webbing and stitching is synthetic, so I'm not too worried about dry rot. You just have to be concerned with abrasion and UV exposure. The only thing that isn't synthetic is the leather padding in the belt and the tool loops on it.

When a guy named AJ Hackett first began tourist bungy jumping here in New Zealand (1986?) it caught on like wildfire (crazy Kiwis love crazy things). Not this one. Kiwis are named for our flightless national bird (not the hairy fruit, although that's where it got its name too). That bird knows that we are supposed to keep our feet on the ground! Lol. Another awesome vid guys - love the flips and cannonball - drone footage simply awesome! :-)

I can't be the only one who literally got sweaty hands and sever anxiousness them being so close to the edge. Major props for doing this insane stunt.
My hands got sweaty and made me have to pee!
Given my shitty inner ear/balance and knowing what kind of damage this would cause, plus the rope possibly tangling on you, or snapping due too many twists...Would not attempt this least in this location and think several times about going to even near edge, specially looking those cracks on the rock. Sure we have hills and rock, but its granite, almost always firmly held together and nearly all have more of a slide than 90 degree drops...

Way fun. The highest I've ever jumped was 116 foot cliff jump into a river free fall no bungee. The high swings are still on my list at 50. Woot-Woot you men rock. NO FEAR!!!!
