Or a C8X with 4 seats in the back on the cargo grid and you can do 1 pilot + 6 passengers (need to use the luxury high end chair as th eothers dont lock to grid)
@@valeriansamborski5844 cant bridge the seperated cargo grids. Each 1 SCU has a deadzone between it and the one next to it.... I tired. Cant put a 2SCU box in either
@chawkes70 The MPUV Personnel has 8 jump seats + 1 pilot. You essentially have a full squad that can deploy with a much lower signature. The C8R is the only useful variant of you using it to augment to be a force multiplier for respawns
Don't forget that the Armory Suit Lockers in the Polaris also have a storage access button in top right of each locker. That is where we have been storing all of our gear during our excursions...
@@Citizen_Kate It seems to be something to do with the missing body searches from previous patches, opening body inventories seems to add them to your ownership somehow and they can't be placed back into the inventory/scu stor*all box unless you swap for a jacket slot item. When the placeholder jumpsuit is worn by male characters it's red like the missing person searches but on female characters it's blue
Those overalls are fantastic, we need more options for crew uniforms. RE shuttles, the obvious answer to me is the Pisces, with its 4 SCU cargo, and if you attach a couple of extra chairs to the grid hangar decorations, you could bring more along with you.
Using the C*X with 4 flight chairs set on the cargo grid would give a small shuttle with quantum. Fewer than the MPUV P but with a jump drive. You can get the chairs at major city shops that give components I believe.
For a simple shuttle I would go with a C8X, has two built in jump seats, add 4 flight chairs of you choice from major city shops onto it's cargo grid you have a 7 man shuttle with a quantum drive or 5 man shuttle with a 2SCU cargo if you swap two seats with a Cargo/gear crate.
Honestly, it would be so cool to have some converted 32 SCU boxes that could function as people carriers for sneaking people past security checkpoints. That would feel very much like the Expanse. Any hauling ship could double as a people mover if there were crates with life support functionality. That would also bring an interesting mechanic to the game of whether or not the crate needs to be powered by the vehicle for climate control and how that affect fuel use, em signatures, and crew safety regarding live wires and electrically charged surfaces.
Citizen Kate all of these videos that you do always look amazing and are a pleasure to watch and I love the music that you choose for them. I also enjoy listening to what you have to say in them since you provide a lot of great feedback and many good ideas that some of us should consider using in game. Plus, I have a minor request on something that you might want to try on the Polaris since it would be a good test just to see if it works. Take an armor said that you don't mind losing and see if you could place it in the armor locker since maybe CIG has it working and then again maybe they don't but it would be an interesting test to do. Also, this might be a really good time to look over the Polaris systems in more detail i.e. checking to see if there's any settings that you can do on the guns and turrets on it especially the auto one since it might have a friend or foe piece of information that can be set. I have not done this with my Polaris and I need to sit down in the hanger and truly explore the ship in more detail since it is possible that CIG might have put a lot of hidden information in the ship that we may not be aware of and it would be interesting to find it ourselves. So in concluding thank you for everything that you do and keep up the good work and I truly enjoy watching your videos. Sadly I don't comment enough on them because frankly as I've gotten a bit older I just don't have as much energy as I used to have in the past.
I think the Polaris gets "mad" at ground vehicles depending on how harshly they hit the ramp when they're loaded. Like a "collision" with the ramps convinces the Polaris that the vehicle is bad. Not completely sure about that one yet.
That's a distinct possibility, possibly the same trigger for "unsafe piloting" you might get when driving a vehicle inside of a ship while in the hangar that leads to it being impounded: it might flag the vehicle as stolen/criminal
I’ve had the Polaris gun down a lynx that was just chilling in the hangar. I think it might possibly agro everything owned by the person that scuffed its ramp.
Various Distrobution centers have different jump suits, I have seen the greycat and the pink ones but would like to know where the blue one can be found.
4:15 The small argo with the personel carrier pod. That's what it's been designed for. I think it has like 6 or 8 seats? No cargo space tho, for that you need the cargo pod, but I guess you can easily fit two of them in a polaris.
To get supplies onto the Polaris easily, use a Crusader Intrepid to haul the supplies into the hangar. From the hangar it's fairly easy to get 2scu boxes through the hallways to their destination. Cheers and looking forward to seeing your Polaris "Life Aboard" series.
It's interesting seeing CIG change the mission objectives during this event. Initially they had us running around these bases shooting red barrels, now it seems like they have you going after a specific target.
Stock Pisces. Two actual seats, and (although I've not tested it) the cargo bay should let you lock four of the "office chair" style hangar decoration chairs for a total of six passengers + the pilot in a really small package. Probably won't work forever, but certainly for now it should.
4:10 - the Shuttle. Personally, I love the look of the C8X Pisces Expedition and C8R Pisces Rescue, especially with the paint options like Responder or Code Blue for the Rescue. C8X, has pilot and 2 jump seats, though a careful pilot could probably manage with an extra 4-8 standing or sitting in the cargo zone. C8R has pilot and med-bed, plus the free medicine cabinet which also has drinks for hydration.
Or just get rid of the entire system and have inventory automatically loaded to your ship based on a simple mobiglass interface with custom operational scenarios and crew manning.
turn off Weapon power if u don't want the PDCs fireing on ur cars. could have saved the USRA rover that way, the cars in the bay do a tiny level of damage getting in etc. so that's why the PDCs think the car is attacking the ship, it's the same reason sometime u drive a car in to a ship and they say ur impound form Reckless driving. BTW the ballista Turck Can get into the lower bay smoothy. but u have to go full boost speed and backwards, that makes the wheels suspension lower, so it gets in without fust
I have to admit that I also did the "It's the only way to make sure" on a few phase 2 missions (all the ones I did were "eliminate Slicers operative). It was only due to not being able to plink the NPC away with my main guns, though, but S2 missiles worked just fine.
The Polaris is such a beautiful ship. I cannot wait to see it fully crewed with all turrets manned, all seats in the cockpit manned. Imagine when they fully implement all systems so you would have someone at engineering and someone else at medical at all times being the ships chief engineer and chief medical officer.
hey Kate (and Will), with the introduction of ship weapon spread in the game, to maximize dps you want to be only shooting at medium and smaller sized ships from 1km or closer otherwise you'll be only doing a fraction of your total damage

It carries 2 passengers by default and a further 4 with seats on the cargo grid. It is a little fragile though. The next obvious choice is the Avenger Titan. I'm not sure how much space the seats will take on the grid. So assuming they take a full 1 SCU slot. You get 4 passengers in the bay plus 1 on the bed for 5 passengers. with no armor you could have driven the Nursa out to cover him and used the guns on top. you would have been warm and toasty inside the Nursa :)
2 hornet in the main hangar or 6 arrows and a c8 rescue in the lower hangar for search and rescue
For a orbit to grasping ship maybe a drake cutter
85x is the best shuttle and fits nicely in cargo bay
if you need a little firepower and don't care about space, the Valkyrie would probably make a nice shuttle
(edit) it could also double as a cargo transport
Expand a Hull A, attach some seats on the sides OR ARGO Pods
That might work.
If you don't need everyone to have seats, lots of ships could work. I saw a video where they crammed like 12 dudes into a Pieces. The Hull-A could hold hold 5 easy, likely more.
But yes, game needs a quantum capable, non-vip, non-dropship shuttle.
Does a Cutlass fit in that top hangar?
400i Would be a great shuttle and passengers have multiple places to sit.
i will lie if i say i didnt lowkey wait for this video to happen!
Ya the pieces needs a shuttle variant. Just jump seats everywhere.
"I have no armor" ....Loots gun off dead guy that has armor. :D
