Tbh, I offten imagined how would aliens react to our art, like music or movies. Would they like star wars, or find it too stupid. Would they be moved by the lord of the rings or not?
How creative can you think, letting an Amya watch Alien😂 Absolutely genius!!! In general RickWrites stories have this unique feature to capture you and amase you with their completely out of the box way of events who are so alien and familiar alike. I love them.👍🙏
Amazing story. I love Rick's stuff so much, it's so impressive the way he's able to describe things through the lens of someone else. And the humour he adds. It's awesome. It's inspiring. And yet I'm afraid to share his works because I feel most people I know are too impatient or not intellectual enough to appreciate it.
I was rolling in the aisle as the main character talked about the movie alien from the beginning and his random speculations about what it was about, knowing that he was going to be in for a very, very rude awakening.
I thought this is an excellent depiction of somebody with a reasonable researcher is spent trying to understand the species, so totally unlike themselves. The idea that you would sit through a horror, film, feeling increasingly uncomfortable, and not understanding the whole point of the film was to make you feel that way until some jump scare occurred. Brilliant.
Thanks for posting this well-done story! It gets one thinking, and even has a thread of humor running through it. Today, I have my own horror story. I am recovering in a nursing home that has beepers in the hall ceilings that go off when anyone uses their bedside call button. Today my brother brought me my very first pair of hearing aids, so now I can hear that terribly annoying beep even better.😱😭
I loved this story. I'm going to drag out the Alien franchise movies so I can rewatch it. I do wonder what the commentary from the Amia would be like if he watched Enemy Mine.
It’s going to be fun to see what our protagonist thinks when he discovers a certain genre of ‘alien encounters.’ I learned humanity seemed fearful that other species might try to breed with them. I told my colleague Mark that was crazy. That would be like if humans landed on the home world of the Dugongs (a race of sapient sea mammals with a prehensile proboscis) and immediately tried to have sex with them. Mark said “Yeah, I guess that would be weird and gross. That’s a relief.” Then week later, he came up and asked me to remind him what was the name of the planet where “those sex-manatees live…?”
I can't believe they took that out the theatrical cut of the movie. First time I saw that scene I was blown away at how terrifying and nerve-wracking it was watching the ammo go all that way down.
I'm not entirely sure you intended this piece to be a comedic piece but I never laughed so hard, thank you for your absolute creativity on that piece😂😂😂😂
That was great but he should have mentioned the best alien encounter film ever... The Last Star-fighter! OK so maybe not the best but worth a mention... IMHO
jaja that would be a fun twist but the works of this writter are all in the same universe were humans are the outlier of being the only predator race that obtained space travel while all others are essentially vegetarians that evolved sentience out of necessity or the like. All their stories are amazing i recommend looking them up im pretty sure the channel has them all narrated.
Why does the description say it doesnt connect to his other writings when the Amia are present? It seems connected to his deadly deadly humans universe, if only in a passing way
Imagine how he would react when he finds out there are other movies featuring even more effective alien predator that hunts both humans and xenomorphs purely for sport XD
Poor guy. Dropped into the world of _Alien_ without warning...can't conceive of it. As many years since it came out, as many times as I have watched the flick, there is still the one scene where Brett is chasing Jonesy into the maintenance hanger and it silently comes down the chains behind him -- I, to this day, have never seen the sequence where Brett turns around and sees it for the first time. Just can't watch it. And this poor Amia watches this movie without any knowledge of what's coming?!? Oy.
@WRickWritesqy8pq this story should come with a warning not to listen to while driving 😂, it’s a good thing I was at home listening to this because I had to stop it so often because I was laughing so uncontrollably hard. 😂😂 if I was driving I I may have crashed. Dam you’re good at this story telling stuff!!!

Hell yeah going over to subscribe as soon as this is done
And so, WRickWrite's masterful writing strikes again!
"alien explains human movies badly". That needs to be a whole series. Please make that a thing!!!!
Tbh, I offten imagined how would aliens react to our art, like music or movies. Would they like star wars, or find it too stupid. Would they be moved by the lord of the rings or not?
I think this alien explained it pretty well though.

aaaa this is amazingly writen ! I could watch him retelling our scifi more than dozens of time..
dang! this is a home run of a story if there ever was one.
also, nice nod to Alien
A good thought project of someone other then ourselves seeing what we created.
The description of "Alien" is great when you know what is coming.
Amazing story.

I´ve got the same problem. 😅

God, i live this Universe
Same. Seeing the Amia's point of view on humans is really fun and never disappoints.
I absolutely adore these stories by WrickWrites. They are so... hopeful and optimistic. It's awesome.
That ending brought me to tears.
I love these stories that take a look at various aspects of humanity from an alien perspective. Really makes you wonder what they'll think of us.
Just one look at our videos on line and they'll either be intrigued or disgusted.
The Jab on academia made me chuckle ...spot on

Amazing, at one third I started laughing louder and louder and at the end a nice realization. With watching this one!
A great concept. Alien point of view..

15:52 😂😂😂 Ridley Scott you madman
Ellen Ripley Scott that is her full name
@@Automatic_Kalashnikova_1974 the director
@@Automatic_Kalashnikova_1974 Ridley Scott is a director and a man
This is a stunningly good work.
That was magnificent!!!! Just magnificent!
Still my favorite of WRickWrites work. So good!
A beautiful story, thank you!
thanks to you and the author
Great story! Aliens is a great movie, especially the sentry gun scene! 🙂
I can't believe they took that out the theatrical cut of the movie. First time I saw that scene I was blown away at how terrifying and nerve-wracking it was watching the ammo go all that way down.
Man, I teared up at the end, great stuff as usual from WRickWrites!
Loving it!
Wonderful story.
Brilliant story
What a great story!
Amazing story. I loved it.
I love the Amia universe.
I'm curious is the Amia are actually as awesome as they claim, or if they're just really vain...
I'm not entirely sure you intended this piece to be a comedic piece but I never laughed so hard, thank you for your absolute creativity on that piece😂😂😂😂
Yes Alien is not the film to watch to see how human might view aliens, same with so many others. Should have included “the Thing From Another World”
I think you should make a separate playlist for stories of this universe.
Yes, I will set one up called...?? Amia/kalukamsku/deadly deadly humans... universe?
@@scifistories1977 I think Amia universe is the best name for this. Because most of the stories are from their prospective.
DDH again! LETS GOO
really good story 👍
That was a really well written short story
Love it!
Honedtly this and the dog one are my favorites
Good one.
That was great but he should have mentioned the best alien encounter film ever... The Last Star-fighter! OK so maybe not the best but worth a mention... IMHO
Oh I like those.
This story cracked me up
nice one
I was kinda hoping that the alien watching Alien was an exact match for Alien, being an egg laying apex predator. 🤣

Being avian, I imagine they are at least egg laying.

Great story! I think the artist got off on the wrong foot, he should have seen paint art before watching (horror) movies with aliens. xD
Ok, 4 stories in and I'm hooked. Which are the other stories in this universe?
Why does the description say it doesnt connect to his other writings when the Amia are present? It seems connected to his deadly deadly humans universe, if only in a passing way
That is confusing but until I see anything that contradicts this in the future, I'm just going to consider it canon.
Perhaps our host had got his notes swippie-swapped.
Looks to be fixed now.
Why are aliens so adorable? 😊
Even aliens need blankets for scary movies
Imagine how he would react when he finds out there are other movies featuring even more effective alien predator that hunts both humans and xenomorphs purely for sport XD

We need Ridley Scott or Sigourney Weaver to see this.
LMAO at : "it can't get any worse than that"
Nice work lol.
The ai is rude us humans are omnivorous
how did humanity react to his sculpture?
Human artwork depicting aliens but representing our culture? He should've watched Star Wars.
