The gratitude bullsh*t really gets me too! I live alone, in a very isolated setting in a disgusting little town. Almost no support from friends and family. No job, no moving away. My country wants tenants to have a lots of guaranty to rent. And because I am depressed, looking for a job seems overwhelming. Vicious circle. I am trying to work out how to pay for a gym membership because doing it on my own in this ugly village, no thanks. Too hard. Your video is very helpful. Very sound advices 👍👍👍
Really glad this helped! Yeah I empathise with you a lot - it's difficult to get through it all when you feel so demotivated/tired of everything You can do it 💪🏾 It's hard but the only thing to do is keep trying, knowing that there's light at the end of the tunnel once you fix the things that are making you feel depressed. But how do you keep trying when you're so low on motivation? This might be controversial (the gratitude types won't ever say this) but frustration is a good fuel source. Hate where you live? Use the energy that makes you angry to search for that job, so you can get out of there sooner. Frustrated you can't afford the gym? Use that frustrated energy to fuel your workouts in a local park or at home. You'll be surprised how much you can do when you're pissed off. Ironically, I trained the hardest when I was depressed because I was so angry that it was unlimited fuel. Directing the frustration, annoyance and anger in these constructive ways means you can get stuff done without them having any detrimental effects to you or anyone else. You don't have to get everything right at the start. One step at a time 💪🏽 Just keep moving in that direction and use the frustration as fuel.
Man, it's been so long since I logged into youtube. I used to watch your videos, and you got me into fitness and improving my body. I never got far with calisthenics because it was so much harder to progress that way, but your videos are what eventually pushed me into the gym. I was probably around 68kg back then, a scrawny teen. Years later and I'm 88kg now, and I wanna thank you for putting me on this journey!
Owww, this is wonderful you changed your game, well-done man, you are very inspiring! Congratulations on such hard work to bit up depression, .hats off 4u

Derek Prince's vids on "depression" or "spiritual warfare" helped me more than anything.

How often do you do push ups sit ups and dips is it every day or is it like training with weights every other day with rest for muscle repair?
Therapist will help, yes, but careful with pills, can have serious side effects.
Exactly - people should ideally try to avoid medication if it's possible
