  • I guess I am trying to convey three simple insights:
    1. Don't stress in a stress test.
    2. Learn before you test.
    3. Limited vocabulary leads to limited experiences.

Love the concepts you teach! Very well thought out and logical. I want to train with other dojos someday, of course yours would be great (or any AKBAN dojo), but I ask myself "Would it be worth going to Japan to train these days?? " . With Hatsumi retired, sure there's Noguchi San, Ishizuka, etc, but ( and forgive me for putting you on the spot) AKBAN seems like it may be better for my musha shugyo, among maybe a couple others...If I had only one shot, would you recommend Japan these days? If you don't answer or if that is too loaded of a question no worries, keep up the great teaching!!!

I love Japan, so here’s my 5 cents. However, you are always welcome to our humble dojo. The humus is better 🙂

Rokas from MartialArtsJourney channel recently mocked AKBAN with some other "expert". Something about wearing hakama instantly makes you fake.

    • @akumabakemono1447

Rokas is one of the biggest betas in all internet. The dude practiced Aikido without knowing what is and what is not, he tought he will become some kind of Steven Seagal, got his ass kicked and start sucking dick of BJJ because that is the martial art thet whipped him. Now he is one of the dudes that bash on Aikido and traditional martial arts.
When some Catch Wrestling practitioner kick his BJJ fanboy ass, I wonder if he would start bashing on BJJ too.

They started with mocking but then I think he actually gave a valid criticism of the performance. You don't have to agree, but this guy knows his stuff

@@cargocultmartialarts They are members of the "hyper PSEUDO realistic martial arts" cult, the guys who ruined martial arts.
And I say "PSEUDO realistic" because if they really think you only have to practice things with high level applicable capabilities... well, they would stop practicing BJJ, MMA, Muay Thai and start taking gunshoot lessons.

Knowledge is not for everyone, to understand and utilize...
The Akban GM offers a lot of it only few can see.

So the stress test means the period of actions and words before the actual event of fighting?
that is a variety of movements!!
