One suggestion, in sound comparison section, you should provide the original recording. The most important part when comparing sound is the relative differences in frequency response to the original recording and then from that we can hear which one is the closest to the original recording. Watching your thorough comparison has been a delight. I have the Jabra Elite 10 and I agree with your conclusion. They maybe aren't the very best at one specific feature, but a very complete allrounder that perform well on all fronts. I like their neutral-bright sound (they are not base heavy, but subbase hits nicely) and they have an open soundstage. Most importantly, they feel comfortable and you don't have to insert them deep into your ear canal. That's my 2 cent's on the matter. Thanks for your great work and looking forward on receiving future firmware updates (codec LC3 and my sound profile).
I like the Jabra ELite 10 most. I had several earbuds, but the Jabra beats them all. The soundquality of the Jabra is nice neutral with very nice high and a very good bass sound because of the 10mm drivers. They are not too present, but go very low and good controlled. I use both an Samsung and a iphone, and this is working perfectly on both.
@@filipakaguptak5557 I have had the Samsung earbuds pro, the Samsung earbuds 2 Pro, Sennheiser Momentum earbuds 3, the Sony Linkbuds S LS-900 and we have the Airpods pro and the Jabra elite active 75t. So quite material to compare . The samsungs are just ok, good in average. The Senjeiser have very good sound quality, the call quality is ok but the fit is very, very bad. It sometimes took 20 minutes to get them good to fit. As a result the NC doesn't work properly too, so I did not use them long, in three weeks i sold them frustrated. The Sony Earbuds S are the cheaper ones, but the are not bad at all. They are very close to the WF-1000XM4 much less money. The fit is very good. Every time I put them in, the fit is instantly good. The sound quality is good too, but the mid/high and high is a little weak. The airpods pro have on Android no functionality at all, only on the Iphone. The bass is too much and not defined, but cluttered sound image. The fit is good. The stick which u you squeeze , also changes the fit, so i don't like it too much. The Jabra elite Active 75t have a very good fit, the physical buttons are really perfect, also with gloves. The sound is a good mid class. The NC is weak. The app is very versatile and you can set many, many settings and also the button function. The Jabra Elite 10 which I use now every day is a winner at almost every point, especially in music quality, helped by it's huge 10mm drivers. The bass is very deep, clear and with just the right presence. The mid is clear and nicely balanced. The high is very good, crisp and clear. Maybe a little strong. The noice cancelling is very good, but it needs 2-3 seconds in the beginning to adapt perfectly. But then they work really good. The fit is instantly perfect en also these have the physical buttons. And for me also very important, multipoint connection with Android and Iphone. At this moment for me the absolute number 1.

That's what I've been using for years now but recently considered upgrading since they only have 6mm drivers & I've always thought they were a bit quite. I've used them daily at work as a tradesmen & love them but thought a newer pair might sound even better. To use would it be worth it to upgrade even tho my existing pair work fine? Sound wise do you find they are a lot better qaulity overall, louder and more bass?

thank u, i find the back and force switching between the jabra and the other in the section sound qualitiy very good because there you have always the direct comparison to the jabra as this is what this video is about. on the other hand the microphone test was less enjoyable as all pairs were played on after another but as the jabra were first you had to switch back yourself if you wanted to have the direkt comparison to airpods. anyway overall helpful, thanks
Airpods pro 2 are already very bright, almost too bright. If Jabra Elite 10’s are even brighter like they sound in this comparison there’s no way I’d be able to use them. They do have the app though so that could fix it.
I love my Elite 10. They check almost every box for me. I do with that they were high res, and I'm curious why they dropped APTX, but even still, they sound great and have very quickly become my daily drivers
Data driven test results show the MX5 cancel more sound than all above with stock tips, without them, even with other foam tips they suffer. Both a pro and a con, the Sony have the best ANC, but if you dont get a seal and need other tips you are wasting money.
Of all your reviews, I disagree with most of your observations on this video. The music was great on both the Bose and Jabra compared to the others. In my honest opinion the hype being given to Airpods seem absolutely bogus! The call quality on the Jabra and Samsung sounded way better IMHO.
Very good sound samples comparison model - repeat main opponent every time before second oponent. BUT I would like to see ambient sound sample comparison, not only an oppinion. In me personaly I dont believe Jabra 10 has better transparency than Bose qc2.

I really like the way you show the call quality in quiet an noisy environments and how you demonstrate the sound qualities of the earbus via the frequency curve and the sound samples. Vocals is always a good indicator of tuning. The Jabra sounds full smooth and spacious, Airpods a little more scooped but very nice too. Worst is Bose followed by Samsung. No idea why anyone likes boosted 1.5 - 3k - it's unnatural, boxy, shrill and unbearable turned up. I almost always have to turn those frequencies down on earbuds
Well Bose works best for me because I don't listen to music. I listen to podcasts while working out and when I had Jabras, the noise canceling only worked well while listening to music, but not while listening to someone talk on a podcast. Bose was way better.
So the Apple Airpods Pro 2 have less hiss than the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II, even in ANC mode? I took the Bose for the best ANC, but their hiss, in every mode, is quite frustrating! 😅 (And no option to turn off the ANC.)

Elite 10 IMO is all about comfort, lack of suction/pressure and very low occlusion effect. Sadly most reviewers seem to miss that. I can wear them all day long. Put them in and forget about them. They have replaced all my other buds - and even over ears - for months now. Big love

i've tested all those headphones (except the air pods, since i am an android user) and you missed to mention a very important point: the Jabras are crazy comfortable. All the others couldn't manage to fit my ears stable and comfortable over time and during activities. Jabras are the only ones to fit my ears very comfortable, secure and with constant good sound without refitting every 5minutes. that was true with the 75t, 85t and is still with the elite 10. AND very iportant point. Jabra still trusts physical buttons! No shitty touch obsession, no accidential inputs! You press a button, you get physical feedback that you did and they just work. Great job
to be honest. When making the phone call test...you shaould also test the sound of an average phone. As they are also effected by noise. The bose are king....but they aren't good. Ok it's a tough ANC test. I have to say: Samsung and Apple falls out of every test. As they only work with their own phones. They are for sure the enemy at every real test. What I mean is: you loose half the features when using them outside their brand. You always have to treat them as if you use them outside the brand. I like that you talk about these issues. Ther sound. I got me some Jabra 10. I'm very happy with them. In your test the sony and Bose sounds quite cheap. To be honest. I use them most the times just when walking through the streets. So I'm using the transparency and I want good sound. My thinking from using them for a week is...they are nowhere the best. But they are at some features better than everyone else. And the price. they are way less expensive than the Sony or Bose.
Of course, these are the most expensive. but also the best? I'm usually looking for the best price-performance ratio and I've tried a lot of them. But I got stuck with the Earfun free pro 2 (best bass) and the Liberty 4nc's (best treble and best app and features). I would like to see a comparison with the most expensive ones.

I'm going to sell my Bose QC II Earbuds and buy AirPods Pro 2 for video conferences. Bose QC II Earbuds have the best noise cancellation and are comfortable to wear, but the microphone quality is very poor. I just don't understand why the microphone quality is quite good on the Bose QC II Headphones but really bad on the QC II Earbuds.

Airpods and Galaxy buds sounded the best in the noisy call section. I think Galaxy Buds did better with cancelling out the fan noise at the cost of being slightly more muffled. While you did sound clearer on the airpods but the fan noise in the background was much more noticeable. Kinda hard to pick what I think is better. Jabras did pretty good tho too. Sony and Bose were very disappointing

Apple AirPods destroy them all on Mic quality. ANC for Jabra, AirPods and Sony are all on par. The Bose and Samsung sound meh and the Sony sound dull. Nice and useful review 👍.
having used all of them, the bose has a very boosted bass and upper midrange. Sony sounds pretty balanced with a solid amount of bass. airpods probably most neutralish. buds 2 pro follows the harman curve
I am surprised at how extremely different they all sound in your test. And I am surprised how little I liked the QC II and how much I liked the Apple. The Bose were one of my main candidates, after recommendations from other nd/noise sensitive people. But they sound terrible in this film, and the praised anc comes at the expense of an extreme hiss and very high pitched remaining sounds. I would never buy earphones which only really work with one brand of devices, but the AirPods sounded to me far the most balanced, and also the anc /might/ be behind the QC, but had the least pesky remaining noise. The Jabra I found, like you said, just solid in all categories. With an ok sound, ok anc, good transparency, least terrible call quality, and no specific points of frustration.
Hey Aaron, I'm hoping you can clear something up for me. I'm confused regarding the setup of the Jabra Elite 10. They've been referred to as being of the open-ear type design, but I've never seen open-ear designed earbuds with silicone tips. This is what's been keeping me from laying out the cash as I very much dislike the past open-ear designed earbuds I've tried in the past. If there are differences between Elite 10 and Elite 8 in this department, what are they, and how do they affect the ANC performance (ANC is of utmost importance to me)? Thanks!

Add a high-bitrate codec and these would be the air-pods of android. It is incomprehensible to me that Jabra only included SBC and AAC. I hope they make good on their promise to have some flavor of LC3 added by year's end.

They're good but nothing compared to Bose as far as quality sound and ANC.

What you have to remember is the Jabras are new. Airpods have had a firmware update. Wait til the Jabras have one..

Wow this is really interesting 👏. I was wondering how much better the Sony's would be 🤔. I have to say I felt my Huawei freebuds 3 was blocking more than my Elite 10. But since the freebuds stopped working I haven't had the chance to do a comparison 🤭.
i've tested all those headphones (except the air pods, since i am an android user) and you missed to mention a very important point: the Jabras are crazy comfortable. All the others couldn't manage to fit my ears stable and comfortable over time and during activities. Jabras are the only ones to fit my ears very comfortable, secure and with constant good sound without refitting every 5minutes. that was true with the 75t, 85t and is still with the elite 10.
AND very iportant point. Jabra still trusts physical buttons! No shitty touch obsession, no accidential inputs! You press a button, you get physical feedback that you did and they just work. Great job
to be honest. When making the phone call test...you shaould also test the sound of an average phone. As they are also effected by noise.
The bose are king....but they aren't good. Ok it's a tough ANC test.
I have to say: Samsung and Apple falls out of every test. As they only work with their own phones. They are for sure the enemy at every real test. What I mean is: you loose half the features when using them outside their brand. You always have to treat them as if you use them outside the brand. I like that you talk about these issues.
Ther sound. I got me some Jabra 10. I'm very happy with them. In your test the sony and Bose sounds quite cheap.
To be honest. I use them most the times just when walking through the streets. So I'm using the transparency and I want good sound.
My thinking from using them for a week is...they are nowhere the best. But they are at some features better than everyone else. And the price. they are way less expensive than the Sony or Bose.
My opinion:
Jabra are the best. My Elite 75t may be a little dated, but they still deliver great sound quality.
Why I like the Jabra Elite 10, is that its a solid all rounder, but ALSO durable, with its IP57 rating that a lot of the others don't have

Of course, these are the most expensive. but also the best? I'm usually looking for the best price-performance ratio and I've tried a lot of them. But I got stuck with the Earfun free pro 2 (best bass) and the Liberty 4nc's (best treble and best app and features). I would like to see a comparison with the most expensive ones.

I have a Jabra elite 75t, bought it in 2020. It still works great after 4 years, great sounds quality, decent noise cancellation. Love it.
I'm going to sell my Bose QC II Earbuds and buy AirPods Pro 2 for video conferences. Bose QC II Earbuds have the best noise cancellation and are comfortable to wear, but the microphone quality is very poor. I just don't understand why the microphone quality is quite good on the Bose QC II Headphones but really bad on the QC II Earbuds.
My SonyXM5s have terrible noise cancelling, has anyone else had this issue?

I do not think it’s fair concerning sound quality, as some of them have eq option that improves sound quality
Airpods and Galaxy buds sounded the best in the noisy call section. I think Galaxy Buds did better with cancelling out the fan noise at the cost of being slightly more muffled. While you did sound clearer on the airpods but the fan noise in the background was much more noticeable. Kinda hard to pick what I think is better. Jabras did pretty good tho too. Sony and Bose were very disappointing
the test show that the airpods were the clearest in calls in noisy places and not so remote from Bose in anc. thats important facts

Apple AirPods destroy them all on Mic quality. ANC for Jabra, AirPods and Sony are all on par. The Bose and Samsung sound meh and the Sony sound dull. Nice and useful review 👍.

having used all of them, the bose has a very boosted bass and upper midrange. Sony sounds pretty balanced with a solid amount of bass. airpods probably most neutralish. buds 2 pro follows the harman curve

I am surprised at how extremely different they all sound in your test.
And I am surprised how little I liked the QC II and how much I liked the Apple. The Bose were one of my main candidates, after recommendations from other nd/noise sensitive people. But they sound terrible in this film, and the praised anc comes at the expense of an extreme hiss and very high pitched remaining sounds. I would never buy earphones which only really work with one brand of devices, but the AirPods sounded to me far the most balanced, and also the anc /might/ be behind the QC, but had the least pesky remaining noise.
The Jabra I found, like you said, just solid in all categories. With an ok sound, ok anc, good transparency, least terrible call quality, and no specific points of frustration.
really liked the sony, too. In the end, both sony and jabra seemed to me possible to eq-adjust a little, while QC and samsung just seemed too far off.

There is something about Jabra that I have never liked. Jabra buds do not have any earwax protection mesh.
Do these new Elite 10 have it?

Hey Aaron, I'm hoping you can clear something up for me. I'm confused regarding the setup of the Jabra Elite 10. They've been referred to as being of the open-ear type design, but I've never seen open-ear designed earbuds with silicone tips. This is what's been keeping me from laying out the cash as I very much dislike the past open-ear designed earbuds I've tried in the past. If there are differences between Elite 10 and Elite 8 in this department, what are they, and how do they affect the ANC performance (ANC is of utmost importance to me)? Thanks!
Elite 10 has better anc than elite 8 as far I know

The Jabra's are much too bright, while the AirPods and the XM5's have a more balanced sound.
How about Jabra Elite 10 pair with iOS? Does it work fine or work perfectly? I've seen the comparison with elite 8 active. How about the gaming if it paired in iOS?
Jabra and Sony sound the best. Jabra is warm sounding and Sony is more open sounding. The rest are crap.
The Sonys sounded way more closed in in this demo
You forgot to compare them in terms of their price...
Add a high-bitrate codec and these would be the air-pods of android. It is incomprehensible to me that Jabra only included SBC and AAC. I hope they make good on their promise to have some flavor of LC3 added by year's end.

Sony doesn't have anything that compares to Sennheiser in sound quality. And at the current MTW3 sale price, they are the best earbud value right now.
in the sound quality with the bose it just sounded bad or was weird compared to the others is there a way to fix that in the eq to make it sound more simillar to jabra elite or the sony
