  • [Intro]
Gather 'round, let me tell you a tale
Of wonders seen, and heroes that prevail
I swear by God, these stories are true
I'm just a bard, but I've seen more than a few
    [Chorus]
I'm just a bard, with tales to tell
Of impossible heroes, where legends dwell
I've seen the unimaginable, felt the thrill
I swear by God, these stories are real
    [Verse 1]
In a land where dragons soar the skies
I met a knight with fire in his eyes
He rode a steed of purest white
And faced the beasts in the dead of night
With every clash, his legend grew
A hero's heart, so brave and true
I swear by God, I saw it all
A tale of courage, standing tall
    [Chorus]
I'm just a bard, with tales to tell
Of impossible heroes, where legends dwell
I've seen the unimaginable, felt the thrill
I swear by God, these stories are real
    [Verse 2]
In a forest deep, where shadows creep
I met an archer, silent and sleek
With eyes like hawks and aim so true
She fought the darkness, through and through
With every arrow, her legend spread
    A hero's spirit, never dead
I swear by God, I saw it all
A tale of valor, standing tall
    [Chorus]
I'm just a bard, with tales to tell
Of impossible heroes, where legends dwell
I've seen the unimaginable, felt the thrill
I swear by God, these stories are real
    [Verse 2]
In a forest deep, where shadows creep
I met an archer, silent and sleek
With eyes like hawks and aim so true
She fought the darkness, through and through
With every arrow, her legend spread
    A hero's spirit, never dead
I swear by God, I saw it all
A tale of valor, standing tall
    [Chorus]
I'm just a bard, with tales to tell
Of impossible heroes, where legends dwell
I've seen the unimaginable, felt the thrill
I swear by God, these stories are real
    [Bridge]
Listen close, and you will find
The echoes of a bygone time
In every note, a story lies
Of heroes brave, and their goodbyes
    [Verse 3]
In a kingdom lost to time and space
I met a mage with a timeless face
With spells of power and wisdom old
He fought the darkness, brave and bold
With every chant, his legend grew
A hero's mind, so wise and true
I swear by God, I saw it all
A tale of magic, standing tall
    [Chorus]
I'm just a bard, with tales to tell
Of impossible heroes, where legends dwell
I've seen the unimaginable, felt the thrill
I swear by God, these stories are real
    [Spoken]

I began to play AD&D in 1992. I wanted to play a bard but my DM was inexperienced by that time and asked me to play another class (I've ended playing a ranger) but from those times to present times I've played many awesome and unforgettable bards. (Bard is actually a very good class, if you know how to play it...and most people don't know, thinking they have to be horny and flirty all the time and can do nothing but play instruments, sing and write poetry...)
This AWESOME song surely makes this chanel worthy of being followed!!👍👍👍👏👏👏

This is seriously amazing 👍. Would love a part 2 with more roles or classes, "A King fair and true" "A Druid with the power of nature running through" "A Cleric, holy and right, heals their allies through the fight" etc.

Great song! But am I the only one who thinks the bard looks like Jesus?

    • @alphaghoul
      @alphaghoul 22 дні тому

Maybe in this timeline, Jesus was born in a high fantasy world, and after his events in the bible, he went underground as a bard to encourage good in people.

Ya know, it sounded nice until I learned this is AI, so now I'm a bit on the fence about it...
Now, perhaps, I know this'll sound crazy to you and all the other AI obsessed dudes, but what if you took whatever the AI spewed out and tried preforming it yourself? Vocals you could easily do yourself if you got at least a decent microphone; instruments I'm sure at the very least you could find some sort of music program like garage band or a mixer either for free or for cheap, just saying because I can understand that artistic endeavors can be expensive but there's lots of options... and I'm assuming the AI came up with everything here of course, the lyrics, the beat- but if you came up with the lyrics yourself and fed it to the AI to fill in the rest then that's just on you, not really much of an excuse if you came up with at least a portion of it (hell, some would argue just coming up with the idea of the song alone is enough to break most "ai artist" excuses, which i would agree- but for the sake of trying to be more on the peaceful/calm side with this comment, I'm not pushing that)
Idk, I just personally dislike the idea of AI being used seriously (vs using it for shitpost-type content), and seeing how kinda shitty AI has been for the human artists image-wise, I can only assume similar things like that would be happening with the musician artist community.

If it sounded good then thats all that matters, music doesn't have to be created in the old fashioned way to have heart, soul and to be good quality, words alone can be inspiring and powerful. I see no issue with it. AI is more detrimental to other forms of art such as painting/drawing for good reason but music? If you aren't someone who has a career in it and its just that obvious and clear then all that matters is if it sounds good to you and others, brings joy too, this did just that. Most won't know its AI till someone points it out, if you enjoyed it till that revelation then just keep enjoying it.

@@SylphieFiore I disagree strongly. I play 5 instruments, sing, and I haven't monetized it ever; I'm not a professional with regards to music. I also DJ'd all through high school and college. While I like some of what's going on, firstly, I can tell it's written by a computer. It's so hard to explain it, but beyond the vocals sounding artificial, the lyrics just... they sound like an AI was fed the dragonlance books and told "pretend you're a bard singing a song about this book."
Music *is* art. Drawings, paintings, digital or on paper, *are* art. Writing is *art.* There are so, so many artistic mediums to try, I couldn't list them all here if I tried! One of the biggest draws to producing art is that it's not just awesome to see something you've made shared and liked by others; but it can be cathartic, therapeutic, and is innately human. There are a TINY, TIIIINY number of animals that create 'art.' I don't mean species; I mean specific, individual creatures on this earth who are non-human who create art.
Humans, by and large, are the primary species on this planet making art. Right now, sure; this seems harmless! It's one dude with under 300 subs telling a machine to spit out a song written by a bard in the style of rock.
But: courts in the US have already ruled that AI generated images, music, and books cannot by copyrighted by the person who submitted the prompt. They are, intrinsically, not art. I'm sure this has happened in other countries too, but I've not gone out of my way to check. That means that if this song blew up? This dude who put up the video gets nothing in the end. He didn't write it, voice it, or do ANYTHING to make it happen besides feeding it a prompt, and maybe SOME of the lyrics.
I'm not saying you can't like this by the way; I actually do like a bit of what's going on here, and I may even try to record my own version at some point! But, it's not art. There's lots of not-art in the world to like and enjoy. The beach isn't art, and I love the beach! But taking something that is very specifically supposed to be 'art' or 'an artistic endeavor' and giving it over to a machine to do? That's a loss of your humanity, your human spirit. It's just gross.

@@TheCaffeinatedDM Well then I guess it sucks for you some with the fact you can't enjoy it as much. There's a lot of music that has auto tune involved and other various things to heighten and improve the final product. One could argue that at that point it has lost its soul. Machines have been involved in music for a long time and its highly likely some artist's you enjoy don't even write their own lyrics too. There's much behind the industry people don't see and hear, things even you no doubt don't pick up on even with musical experience. With so much put into music to make it what it is I just don't see a point in caring how one produces it, for all you know the person behind this channel has a burning passion for music yet lacks the talent or knowledge to replicate it themselves yet they push through anyway and make something some can enjoy.
The fact that the music will go on, inspire, help or simply get people having a good day is what matters to me in what I would call art. Same with other mediums, pieces to take in no matter which form all share the same results which is to bring joy, to inspire and be shared. I don't really care if some court ruled it not art, what is to be enjoyed and labelled as art is more down to individuals since they are the ones it touches on a deeper level. I'd love to play and instrument and be better at singing yet mental health worsened by a lot of bad people ripped me from such chances at an early age and other problems now in life simply make it harder to do and learn things. Yet throughout my hard fought battles in life music has always been there for me, saved me, inspired me to endure and reach higher despite my suffering, its kept me going and I love it.
It's enough to try and feel at times, you may not understand me at all but in the end I take in some of the songs this person puts together and I enjoy them on various levels. I respect your opinion though but what resonates with my own soul and aids me is what me and my heart dictate, not others. If it affects me that much then simply put its art in my mind. This is more of a logic vs emotional reasoning debate I guess lol.
