Your AFR's are really not the best in my opinion. Did you eventually get a PCM tune? Boost controller and manual WG is not a great way, and in fact may lead to blowing your engine. new TIP>MAP>and a proper PCM tune and it would shit pants, (assuming your car is properly sorted mechanically) Have you completed a pressure test/smoke test? How is compression on this engine? NOTE, low boost levels = potential crack in OEM manifold at the wg door too. GL! CHEERS@
I thought low 12's was good for AFR's yeah it might be a little on the rich side but it also cools down the engine at wot. Car already had a tune on it, I just made some adjustments to it. The reason for the boost controller instead of a PCM controlled is that it would break up over 15psi of boost and boost contoller fixed that. I don't think a boost controller is bad but just a different way of doing it. Did a pressure test and that checked out but didn't do a smoke test but after swapping the turbo it has not problem building boost. Compression was 140 psi across cylinders + - 5 psi. Did crack the manifold swapped that out, but thought they cracked from EGTS being high.

That car is running nice, im trying to pick up a pt cruiser 5 speed for myself and use a arm boost controller / big turbo. Thanks for showing the install
@@ForzaPulls Yeah, no problem. Lol I try to be nice with my response. I've been working on this platform about 7 years now. The AEM boost controller is nice just you lose the boost by gear. My buddy has been happy with it ever since. The guy before him hack the car up and not sure what he did to the pcm so that was the reason for the boost controller.
Because it would allow for more options as the build progresses. We currently tune with a diablosport and I just feel it's missing alot coming from my car which is ms.
Gotta have fun sometimes, But I was watching afrs and adding fuel accordingly. We checked spark plugs after and they looked good too. Turbo flutter was tuned out as I don't like the back spin forces on a stock turbo shaft without drilled surged holes. I should have mention that the car is on a tune and running about 20 degrees of spark on 93. BTW your car looks good dude!
@@thatptracecar2148 I don't own it anymore unfortunately new owner blew it up and sold it to a local guy I know and he is rebuilding it and redoing the whole car which is sweet and good at least ur tuned lol
