I spent half the day today trying to get my M2 Ultra Mac Studio to “see” my Apollo x8p gen2 via thunderbolt 3. I saw MANY threads of people having the same issue: the “Host” light did not illuminate meaning the computer was not seeing the Apollo and vice versa. What had occurred during installation was exactly what you showed at the end of your video. During the installation process the warning about needing to click allow in the security setting would show up but when you went down just as you showed in the video, there was nothing there. It looked like it had already passed through. Even when I scrolled up in the Security section and looked the allow area next to the UAD software was turned blue and switched on showing that it was allowed. I kept installing uninstalling going through multiple other things that were suggested online none of which worked. You’re opening the computer as you showed at the end of your video and changing the security settings and then going back in and actually clicking the allow fixed everything and I’m now off to the races and trying to produce my first song on this machine tonight thank you so much!!!!

Hi GSXR1k600RR! I'm glad the video helped to solve the issue, and I wish you a great song producing session! Cheers!
