She had one of the sweetest voices. I remember this song when I was about 9 years old back 1961. RIP sweet lady!
And now darling Sue Thompson is 96!!!!! Sing on dear lady! I enjoy her music so much. Always uplifting even "Sad Movies" !! Thank you for posting this!
RIP Sue Thompson!
I first became aware of her in 1965 which was a few years after this song was on the charts when she performed the song on some TV shows in the Los Angeles market. I was 13 and figured she was about 20. It blew me away years later when I learned that her age had been about double my estimate. She was actually older than my parents but looked incredibly young and that sweet voice of hers gave her a youthful sound.
But what a beauty and what a wonderful singer who is still with us in her 90s. I can't say that I was a follower of hers but I did like the songs I heard her sing.
Give this lady credit where credit is due . a beautiful song and voice of an unforgettable song
She sounds exactly like she did in 1961 - 30 years later. LOVE this song. R.I.P., Sue.
I find her sweet and young-sounding voice such pure bliss!!!!
Tausend Dank für diese tollen Videos und Lieder
dieser bezaubernden Lady, die im Juli 2016 ihren
91. Geburtstag feiern darf.
Excellent!!! I think she was 66 years old here and she celebrated her 90th in 2015.
This is really a great version of this song.
Enjoyed
I guess she must have been around 60 here and she still sounds much the same and looks great. What on earth is she wearing though?
I think they're called Capri pants!
Ehh it was the 90’s lol
