I like the Poster cars detailed interiors compared to MINI GTs all black interiors on almost everything. But I'd have to agree on all of your points about MINI GTs pluses. Is the MINI GT actually green or teal? All the pictures on internet it appears a teal like color. Would be nice Ina dark British Racing Green. Good review, can't wait for the next one. 👍
MiniGT is like an industry standard at this point! Definitely agree that Poster cars are lighter - maybe the diecast thickness is lower than other brands too. I have their Lamborghini Sian and while it looks good it feels so light.
Finally a size comparison I have the skyfall silver from poster cars and yep I'm getting the British racing green from mini gt too Oh baby my collection's gonna have new dudes
The Valkyrie is probably one of my least favorite Astons, but the Mini GT version does look way more impressive. Of course for the money, the Postercars version ain't too bad itself. But I agree though, I would much rather have carbon fiber _and_ a metal base than brakes (even though that would be nice to have too). So the Mini GT obviously gets the W.
Really interesting compare & contrast review 👍. I have both variants of Valkyrie by Poster Cars & to be fair for the price point it’s pretty good value notwithstanding the painted surfaces instead of carbon fibre. That said I do like the MiniGT and just like the Sian (I have both brands take on that one) the carbon fibre treatment is just superb and so worth the extra money.
I’ve been considering other poster cars but the plastic base is such an L that I’m prolly not gonna get them. I have too many mini gts (including this valk even though I’m not a big fan nor very knowledgeable on the car it would be a great addition) and now tarmac (don’t give me that look) has some ones I’m looking at where poster cars aren’t worth pursuing rn.
Tarmac works 🤢 Nah but that's fair enough man, there's so much diecast out there that I want but I have to really balance things out as this isn't my only collectibles hobby 🤣

And unless you buy me them I’m not spending 25 bucks on a cm model 😂😭 I’m still going for quantity in my collection.

I have a couple poster cars. They are pretty cool for the price but they’re no mini GT you’re right! I have a few mini GT too, and there’s no comparison in my opinion.
@@Booster_Diecastthe best thing about the pop race since I saw the sample is that the rear hood is opening, and has the same details as the mini gt, but has the AMR lime green pinstripes
@WEC_Connoiseur yeah the opening parts is cool but I do worry that it'll create ugly panel gaps. I will definitely get the pop race version and compare it to the mini gt
@@Booster_Diecast not gonna lie when I saw the sample in a video, it didn't have any panel gaps. I have the 400R and it doesn't have panel gaps whatsoever

Yes it's definitely more of a dark green. Digital cameras capture some colors kinda weird, and this green color is one of them

Yeah the lightness is definitely due to the plastic bases in the poster cars, but they are pretty solid for their price

I think the valkyrie is awesome. Basically a street legal F1 car lol. But yeah the carbon fiber is hard to look past on the poster cars version

Totally agree with you! And the mini gts are a whole lot more expensive than the poster cars, depending on availability of course
No way, mini gt gave us a perfect model for the first time in forever, and right in time for the comparison

You would think poster cars by now would have a lot more. They only have like 12 cars or something. They haven’t gotten any new ones as far as I know.
There was a couple Bugatti Divos but I could only find them from one seller in Australia. Hopefully they release more soon

I have the Poster Cars version and getting the Mini GT, and my play is to swap the wheels and the seats to upgrade the Mini GT version
