This is painful. I think Warden got too much hate. His behavior was inexcusable don't get me wrong, but he has what it takes to do better (messaged him and he seemed genuinely sorry about it all, like he wants to be better). I hate seeing behavior like that, but from what I understand he seems like an ethical actor and cares about his friends having fun with a comicbook-inspired project. GAVIN is a different story. He took advantage of extra fundraising, mistreated his crew (especially the VFX artists), cherry picked his sorrows, and promoted Lotus after sharing Warden's apology (who does that?) Not to mention he knew about the skeletons in the closet and still casted regardless of circumstances, alas the controversies. And now...I don't know if I can watch the product of someone's abuse on their crew. This is genuinely painful.
I know the feelings. Warden can be a better person, and hopefully is getting there by now. Yes, you have a point about Gavin, he's didn't treat anyone with the respect he deserves, not even his former fan who, years later, leaked those messages. It sucks that something like this is in a Spider-Man fan-movie production :(
It really sucks man, this fan-film used to satisfy the Hype for NWH (kept us in check) and I was actually looking forward to see this movie. Despite the Trailer Kind-of losing the message it was sending, i was so excited to see a broken Spider-Man/Peter Parker getting back up and doing as much as he can to make a sick boy’s dream a reality. It would have been a great homage to the Spider-Man vs Cancer comics. Yet I’m still Heartbroken till this very day that Warden Wayne lost his chance to play the Legendary Web-Head because of his past actions. Still Heartbroken that a director, that supposedly loved the character, turned out to be (based on what I heard) a total dick. (May get canceled for what I’ll say next) And Still heartbroken that this SENSITIVE Society (along with a gigachad 9-year-old) Ruined Spider-Man: Lotus… - - - Maybe Warden should be redeemed cause I really feel bad 😔
@@lightyearkomix9414 no I agree. Society needs to ease up on some things and be open-minded while embracing empathy. Warden has horrible behavior in his past without question but he himself got more hell than he deserved, and has what it takes to be a better person so he's both professional and more tame. Gavin has to fix himself too, but he needs to use the money and pay the artists for screwing them over (alongside a formal apology letter at the very least. I'm no filmmaker but I know empathy).
that full trailer shot was definitley a throw away shot to keep the actual shot a secret. You can tell by the low quality of the buildings, 100% rushed
@@tomfriendly2412 Good. Not only were the events years ago, but they're completely different people from years ago. People can change for the better. Plus, the pettiness of the guy that leaked it should be condemned even more.
@@Daddyvader7 The reason behind the exposing was petty. Even if they should, that doesn't mean there's gonna be anything related to race in the film. Separate the art of from the artist.
Yes, he WAS racist. You have absolutely no proof that he still is, and he even stated that he's really trying to better himself, and that's all that matters. Everybody deserves a second chance.

yes you can still watch it is not like youre going to die if you watch a movie directed by a racist guy

no lol
OR it's just poor cgi because it's a low budget movie? 😂
A different team worked on the first shot.

Ngl the CGI looks pretty impresive
it's beautiful
Yes, definitely more beautiful than the rest of the production

I’ll still watch it to support all the non-racist people that worked on this project
is there anywhere i can see it or is it just never gonna come out after what happened
they are still going to release it, probably in the next couple months

I don't care if he's racist or xenophobic, I care about Spider-Man.
Warden Had Peer Pressure Into Saying Thoes Things And He Was Still Quite Young
Im not Saying What He Did Wasent Wrong And Bad Tho

The first one was better. Less light to see imperfections.

Bro I was kinda exited for this and then people found out the guy who would be Peter was racist.. Smh man!

Same animation sample but in different locations.
