I hadn't checked on this video in quite some time, and I had no idea I had reached 10k views. Thank you all so much for your support. When I set out to make this as a student I had no idea people would enjoy it this much. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being here.

Got goosebumps when he said "10 years later Starbucks closed and that was the first Starbucks that closed in the US"

Post Coffee is amazing and I freaked out when they said Post and showed the inside of it. I love when coffee shops are in older brick buildings, but I also love when they open in boring strip malls because it brings a hip and modern city vibe to them, like Post Coffee and Second Best Coffee.

That was excellent! Has me pumped to skip work and go drink coffee and visit caffriends all day instead! LOL

I love the production value and content. I’ve started work on a similar project for my home town.

Hey @Cooper - great job! Being somewhat newer to KC, this has definitely expanded my knowledge of the really awesome coffee shops out here. Thanks!

@KCcoffeegeek - You, my friend have an awesome collection of information on your site. I read something you posted elsewhere when I was doing research on whether there are any Japanese roasters and how they differed from American roasting techniques. You have some great reviews on your site. Love it!

KC has a lot of good coffee but it is concentrated into too dense of an area... it would be nice if some of these coffee gurus would recognize that people who live in the KC metro but outside of downtown and midtown also like to go out for coffee. I do remember that sbux opening up right next to broadway cafe though and getting run out of town with their tail between their legs. that was awesome.

Thanks for the kind words! KC's coffee scene is so dense that even with close to 20 people that we go to, we only scratched the surface. There a loads more great shops all over the city!

    Thanks for the video.
Do you think worth it to get home coffee roaster for daily use at home? If so, what is your suggestion?

Hey! Sorry for the late reply. I don’t hop in my creator dashboard very often. Do you mean coffee maker? Or actual small roaster? I really like making pour overs if I have the time, but I usually just use a regular ol’ drip machine and some quality local beans! My advice would be to find some good local roast, that will carry you most of the way to a great cup. :)
