That’s a hard question to answer. When I’m buying a book my rule of thumb is 3. If I would make 3 projects from this book then it’s worth buying. But making the patterns is honestly just what I’m in the mood for. I’m a teacher here on YT so I feel making my own patterns is more beneficial BUT I still buy books (as you can see) and still use that rule of 3.
