Thank you for the video! I just purchased my Juki a few days ago. I do have a question, please. Is the needle supposed to be perfectly centered in the presser foot? Mine is slightly to the left (if looking straight at it) and I wanted to ask before using it again. Thank you in advance!
In the meantime, before they have a chance to answer you, yes, your needle is supposed to be in the center Try another needle. Maybe yours is slightly bent. Is it all the way up inside the needle shaft?
@@dcwatashi thank you! Yes, tried a brand new needle and checked to make sure it was installed correctly. I also cannot get the presser foot screw loosened so I will be taking her into the shop this weekend.
@@dcwatashi I personally have found my seams to be less accurate just because I'm trying to stay in the seam the whole time and I just don't feed it perfectly. I'm much more consistent with the hinged 1/4" foot. However, when I'm piecing a quilt with a lot of seams, I will use the 1/4" with guide. Just my preference :)
Will the hinged 1/4” foot work on the Janome HD9 also?

My Juki did not come with the hinged 1/4 inch foot mine came with a quarter inch foot that has a guide on the side. Hmmm
That hinged 1/4" foot is an optional accessorie on all the TL machines :)
@@JukiJunkies i’m curious as to why you don’t like using the one that came with the machine I think the guide is helpful
