Was thinking about the limitations of using finish lines for death and realized you could make an invisible maze of oversized finishes where you have to find your way to the checkpoint.

You should make a death clearcoat paint, something that is invisible while driving! This way you can put it onto any paint on top, plus there needs to be a remove all clearcoat paint button.

“Death paint” isn’t that just lead based paints? A kill block would be cool, instead of holes to dodge in the road it’d be hidden patches to avoid.

I've seen some stuff in trackmania that could be translated to here. Turning campaign levels icy is one of them.
But how about making them flat? Changes things significantly, although there might need to be some creative interpretation for some of them.
