Eddy and Lenny the Spirit of Lower Light here, I am in Adelaide getting various treatments and mental health issues sorted and have been away from my beloved dz since 2021 and out of the sky since 2020. The sky and Lower Light are my spiritual places. I stumbled upon this wonderful video of my skydivng brothers and sisters and all who make skydiving possible and GCA'S(we give up our skydiving time to keep you safe) and halfway through tears just started rolling down my cheeks watching you wonderful sky pilots slap the sky and do your amazing stuff with kegs, pumpkins and whatever and your skills are bloody amazing whether swooping the pond or doing a beautiful head down dance around a keg with such precision and grace. You camera people who capture this beautiful poetry in motion in the sky, THANK YOU, I love what you have all put together and I thank the sponsors and the organisers who came up with this boogie and my fellow skydiver's who implemented it in the air and had fun doing it. Bravo to you all. I think you have given me the edge to get on top of my PTSD and other problems and to want to see Lower Light drop zone from 15,000 feet again. I have over $1300 in my jump account and when I can tick some boxes, all you people involved in this video will be in my head and be my inspiration to be back in that cold,crisp air with my Pilot 188 strapped to my back. 7:52 is the black barrel with wings supposed to fly in angle ? if so, this is sick, you held it very well for few seconds. I'm sure it's possible to make it more stable !
Yep, def possible to get it better, I only let it go as the lines started cutting into my fingers that I was holding onto, otherwise was gunna wait for the rest to get in formation. flew for about 1000-2000 ft then started to spin, I have a couple of ideas how to make it better now. it survived so def gunna give it another couple of goes next time.
