Those bearded dragons also have really STINKY poop too🤣. I think the easiest of all is a crested gecko. Ours is in a bio setup. One thing I had to learn on my own was that crestie’s are easy to overfeed. I didn’t know that you are not supposed to feed them every day and ours got so big he quit climbing lol. I put him on a schedule and now he’s great! You’re right about the big chain pet stores! You should NEVER buy reptiles from the big chain pet stores!!!! Most of the time the reptiles from them are sick and reptiles are great at masking illnesses. By the time they show signs it’s often too late. The people who work there are usually not passionate about the animals. Often times it’s someone who’s there for a paycheck so they don’t take the time to research and learn about these creatures so most of the information they may give you as a new pet owner is wrong! ALWAYS BUY YOUR REPTILES FROM A BREEDER! The breeders know what they are doing and if they are anything like Courtney and James they will answer all your questions about caring for these animals! I love all of my reptiles in my collection but I really have a passion for snakes! Snakes to me are so fascinating to watch their behaviors. I love working with mine and I love how it feels when they hug you! I love when they are curious and want to explore their environment. They are just so interesting to me... I wanted to add to the 2 I have now and wanted one a bit bigger than my precious girl ball python so I just purchased a superdwarf retic from Garrett Hartle. I can’t wait for her to get here to our home! She’s a wildtype kalatoa/jampea cross. She’s beautiful! Love my babies!
