its helpfull to have someone in my area putting up videos, thank you for what you do.
Thank you for the comment.
Thank you Chuck! Always great to get notified of a new video from you!
So nice of you
I am very much appreciating your channel and a new subscriber. Can you tell me the details of your coat and hood? Thank you.
Nice video
Thank you!
Great video. You missed Cameron Jack at the meeting Monday. I was hoping to see you there. Thanks for the videos ... please keep them coming.
Sorry Jon I was at work flying until Weds evening.
Thanks for taking time and sharing your videos. The first hive I seen you had an OA sponge instead of cardboard strips, do you like them better?
They work pretty good in double deeps, but that first hive I checked had more mites than I like, so I need to keep testing.
Cool use of your observation hive.
Thank you! Cheers!
You sure work hard in that 89 f weather. Glad your bees are looking good. Are your plans to do three OAV over the next couple of weeks??
That's the plan!
You are suppose to have 2 half's of the sponges Of OA in a hive
For double deeps you are correct
@@chuckshoneybeesIf i can piggyback on this question…Do you find the OA sponge laid over the top bars in a single deep arrangement to be as effective as chipboard strips hung down between the frames in a single deep?
Chuck. What kind of efficacy are you experiencing with the OA strips?
If you keep them in there, with 3-4 strips per deep, the efficacy is in the 95% range.
Are you still using OA chipboard strips?
I am, but a bit behind on adding new ones.
Where did you get your observation hive? Thanks
I made this one myself, but followed plans from Bonterra bees.
Ok thanks
