Such a classy rider. Keep on trying and the victory will come
He's so great, look at 2:55 he heads straight over to the fans and signs autographs.
Congratulations Wout! You are #1 to us 🚴🏼🚴🏼🚴🏼🚴🏼
My wife and I are always rooting for the big man Wout. He's the total package when it comes to on and off the saddle public image / persona. His interview here does the lead-out to bring my point to the finish line. Wout is approachable, easily makes friendly bant!er (not his fault riders are cutting him off on the right barriers), and is a huge class act wishing all the best outcomes for Primoz, then goes straight across to the fans and starts greeting them and signing autographs - Wout class Aert. Our next trip across the pond, we're skipping our usual visit to my wife's Aunts and Uncles and cousin in England, and setting up to watch the 2025 Le Tour
The man crashed and had his ankle rolled over the day before. He's a f*ckin' gladiator!
@davezavu I went back and looked at his crash, and - W O U C H! ! Our big man Wout is every bit the gladiator you said! Crazy crashed today too. No matter how well a rider does, sometimes lady luck just doesn't smile on you - like poor Primoz - but those crazy road furniture. UCI has terrible safety program to not have all those little medians more visible with a flag person & whistle. :(
The road furniture in the section Primoz crashed was not signed at all ridiculously!!!!. The race organisers should give primoz the same finishing time as the peloton it was their fault!!. GC should not be decided by a health and safety issue!.
Well , they did give him the same time when he crashed yesterday.
They would have if that crash was inside 5k, they will not inside 12k. Which is where the crash happened.
@@scottf3456 Probably shouldn't have being that rule is for flat stages not mountain ones.
Ut was fully paomted in bright white !!
I agree.
nice guy
I wish the nice one Wout van Art will win at least one stage to the nextt , my second favourite cyclist after Biniam
Thanks to the producer, good questions and great answers by Wout van Aert! WvA might easily had won without beeing deviated again.
Just a little remark @producer, better to cut out the interview with Bini and put it in a content ot it's own. Cheers!
He is such a classy guy
Peleton biking English: Full Gas; super; ya
Lol the official language of the TDF is "Yeah...uuuuuugh....blah blah blah...uuuuuugh"
I love it 😂
yeah ...uuugghh ... super happy you noticed.....
English isn’t these riders first language or even second or third in some cases
@danshort10 LOL thanks for letting me know
I'm amazed at how well they speak English. The yeah is probably a pause to get the correct words out.
Since some of you don't understand the intent of my original comment, I feel I should clarify. What I said has nothing to do with the riders ability or inability to speak any specific language. Rather, it has everything to do with what they're allowed to say...hence the reason I think they all essentially repeat the same things pre/post race. The only "off script" statement that was made was by Remco and look how that ended for him. I guarantee the bosses reeled him in and we won't be hearing anything else about JV "not having the balls to race." People involved in certain activities tend to adopt a certain way of talking or behavior and cycling is no different. It's OK. I enjoy it. I'm very much entertained by the TDF. Yesterday's stage 11 was legendary.
What did WVA mean at 0:50?
He has chosen to ride on the right side for every sprint and has been boxed in. Don't read too much into it
The best sprint strategy is to stay far away from Jasper the Disaster
He probably prefers to ride on the right, but it has gotten him boxed in a couple of times. I think he was just laughing at himself though.
He got cut off.
Quite a gentleman not to call out AD for his shitty race tactics, had he not been French he would have been relegated!
He was relegated, same as Cav. They're listed 67th and 68th for today's stage instead of 3rd and 5th.
So, help me understand. He crashed yesterday and his back and hip are sore. His team leader is in the fight to win the tour. What justification does he gave to be sprinting for a stage win? Shouldn’t his focus be saving energy, staying out of trouble so he can support Jonas in last 9 stages?
Always this nervous looking Visma guy in the background, what’s his job?
Recording all questions and anwers for internal use / to keep the press honest / media training / legal backup. If you watch any F1 interviews they do the same there
@@ruben-ernst He takes his job seriously
Same old Visma tactics.... you cannot believe a word that comes out of ANYONE in that team... they're always not feeling well or not on 100% ... hit then they almost win... people need to wake up and see this team and their riders for what is really going on..
@@LadyBird-n2t You realize he had a hard crash yesterday?
@@wimve4719 He's a big name cyclist in the biggest race of the year. Yes, he's going to make a one minute or so video. Oh the humanity.
nice categorical statement - your ignorance and / or bias shines through
