aPG is a very well spoken and humble young man. Great insight into his story and the wisdom he’s gained from personal experience. Phenomenal episode all around 🙌🏻
Love aPG, great interview. The irony of Dreal talking about unexpectedly dropping a player when they dropped Priestahh after winning 3/6 for the season lmao
@@ShaunAnderson_SauceKey word: Two. We’re not even through the first month of matches. Boston piss slammed Toronto today so let’s see what happens before using a term like dividends lmao
@@ShaunAnderson_Sauceyeah they won a couple online matches. It’s definitely paying off, winning 2 online matches is a way bigger accomplishment than winning 2 majors and winning champs going 5-0 in the finals 😂 and your point makes no sense; New York would still be 2-0 with priestahh instead of sib

The fact aPG is still competing after all these years is insane, dude has done amazing things for the halo and eSports scene in general, props to dude.
This is quickly rising to one of my favorite podcasts! Huge up to BreakingPoint. We def need a part two!! Dreal is a wonderful interviewer. I truly hope to see aPG find success next season in Infinite. I have been a fan of the dude for.. shit, so many years now, I'm getting old lmao. But, for real, he is such a genuine, smart person and player -- him being a smart player cannot be understated!! It sucked watching people try and scapegoat him throughout his tenure on OpTic, but the mans has a great team for this new season of Infinite, and he has SO much experience while playing (and winning) with TOX/SEN and, of course, with OpTic. I can truly see him be a great leader on this new roster!
this did a lot for me being able to listen and really listen to what their saying especially because im going through a hard time rn and it can relate and help me look at things differently and for the better and looking back at my life at other hard times always loved aPG 🖤🙏🏽 love these podcast too watch every single one
I thought it was over when optic were up 2-0. Then it all came crashing down and I still haven’t rewatched any of the grand finals. If optic won that apg wouldn’t have been dropped, and apg wasn’t even playing the worst during those grand finals. Wish him the best year 3
I was there in the venue during the WC this year. Watching them get clobbered 8 straight maps in a row after thinking they were about to 2 peat was so brutal. I can’t imagine how soul crushing it was for the players. It was really a momentum meets superior talent thing tho when you talk about faze.
Not that I didn't respect him before, but still a lot more respect for APG after watching this. Excited for the new Native Gaming team, think Neptune has huge potential.
I mean they dropped him cause he was bringing the team down like crazy. I know ppl get mad when this is said, but it’s true. He’s not the only one who can play the objective lol. Penguin is a way better pickup.
@@samaritanbrotherseth2669 - Why do you say that? They just got a lot better. Penguin won best support player of the year the last 2 years in a row. He's basically apg but better.
Yeah if I’m APG I’m super happy with my success and career. Glad he’s in this place mentally. Such a good line of thinking to only focus on factors you can control. Also take some notes esports kids, this dude has been criminally underrated his entire career, but he still stayed on the grind and did what he needed to do to win tournies.
Lucid is the weak link. Anyone that has followed his career for a minute understands that Lucid can't play at a top top level without having other players carry the map for him. Man is one of the best slayers but that's about all he can do.
The reality will always be that Lucid and Trippy are extremely overrated and relied on smart players like APG for all of their wins. Edit: the amount of OG fans that think Lucid is better than anyone on FaZe is hilarious.
Hard to state the reality of a situation that hasn’t played out yet. Formal is a brilliant player and strategist, and I don’t know about Penguinz but I’m sure he’ll bring something new and good to the table. They got outslayed by FaZe, so to beat them next season they have to make an adjustment. APG is great, but he’s not the whole squad.
Drop the crack pipe dude. Lucid got MVP and top Slayer last year and Top Slayer this year. He consistently has more damage than everyone in the lobby like 90% of the time. aPG was consistently going negative and not keeping up. End of story.
@acrisptaco8876 Idk how anyone could think that i mean hicupping through one season is all they did. All the other teams dismantled too the stars aligned for them.

Yes he was. He had like a .5 kd in the grand finals that’s fucking unacceptable. It was an easy choice for the team to drop him after that.

Great interview. Love the Halo content.
Apg is the reason why i started liking halo. Ive hated halo all my life since im more of a cod guy. Gave halo a chance cus of u.

Typical optic dropping people from the team when they simply come up short after mostly being dominant the entire season 🙄
they better win a lot next season or else questions will be asked lmao
