Outstanding training video! Hitting, distraction, impacting the balance of your opponent are truly the keys to obtaining superior positioning. Your insight into this issue is right on as usual. Thanks for sharing.

Mike Tyson the master of getting to the flank off of movement. And his footwork is literally exact same as Saam Gok Ma, Dog Step / Triangle Step.
If doing it off a touch, Catch Wrestling best mirrors the control concept here. Instead of trying to step to the flank, You force them to expose their flank, and step simultaneously. And an arm drag, like what you used absolutely is one of the simplest ways.

Yes, Gentlemen, soft contact is not alarming, but two hands blocking and walking along his hand brings us. I also appreciate redirecting pressure is another way of getting to the blind side of the taller opponent. I wonder why MMA fighters neglect it and and work hard on take downs. Probably it requires moire thinking than physical effort. IAn old adage is known to all fighters, it is not the qquality of the style but the quality of the fighter that matters. The altimate weaopon is sspeed of a shorter person, he or she can always capitalize on it. Many thanks. All the bests. Paul,69

You, are revealing too much to the layman. Your expertise is unquestionable, but these details should be kept for your legit students only. You don't have to prove yourself to people all the time.
Your experience is best shared with serious hardworking students, because they deserve it. Most people don't because they don't train, they just question you for the sake of questionings.
No offence here, I'm no one to challenge your decisions.
    Respects to your Masters!!
    Regards.

They don't question him just to question him, and I doubt his main intent is to prove something. What's the point of worrying about what people - that don't even train - think?

If people don't train it to make it work, where is the fear of over sharing from? That's what has helped obscure these arts over time anyway.
