Acceleration trumps high speed driving most of the time, you can easily enjoy these cars without breaking the law. Unless you live in a city.
@@Horizon301. he must love accelerating up to 20 and 30mph in London then 😂 Even if I didn’t live in a city- you wouldn’t catch me buying 100k cars even if it is PCP money a month, just to get to 70mph.
@@KleanKarClinic88 clearly you don’t enjoy driving much then. I live in the countryside, you can have fun on good roads with a slow car or fast, acceleration in my opinion is better and most roads are 60mph anyway.

Such a sick experience Archie! Wasn’t expecting this sort of content! I watch traffic cops and police interceptors daily! Hope to see more content like this super cool PC Hamilton. Would be so funny seeing Archie join the force and on traffic cops doing pursuits!

Great safety promotional video Archie…a first for any car UA-camr I’ve seen…we need more of this and a QA would be great as your viewers get a chance to ask the police questions about what’s right and what’s wrong
A guy called GCM on UA-cam works with Dorset police, he has some interesting stuff with their traffic unit.
Love those shows too, so pleased you got to do this, be great if you can do more sessions with them and the Q&A is a great idea too.
Great video and so insightful to see what day to say police officers do, especially in unmarked cars. I think a q&a would be great!

Y i never speed when i see X5's, literally was following one at 70 on wednesday coz i thought it was under covers and as i went past i saw police recording everything😂😂🤣
Yeah there’s certain cars that just fit the bill, I’m always overly cautious. The small wheels give it away since they’re so rare on them and they just have a ‘look’ about them.
@@a20axf licence plate holder is the easiest from what I see as they are thick, also the grille lights

@@CymruEmergencyResponder where s the fun in that, and anyway if you own a modern car thats got a bit of power every time you give it a little gas you re over speed limit. You don t notice it. The highway code needs an update cars are safer, brake faster, have better grip etc nowadays, speed limit should go up

I've watched every episode of Police intercepters en Traffic Cops and loved it. Especially the narrator made it awesome with his remarks. Like vanman and knifeman.

I had exactly that issue with a private plate a few years ago when I got pulled over. My insurance company had recorded my plate with one letter incorrect

Good choice in terms of cars, the UK police sure got style. These B57 inline 6 diesels are properly fast 👍.
Here in the US we have Twin turbo EcoBoost 3.5L V6s and Hemi V8s with 350+HP. We have the Ford Taurus Interceptor, Dodge charger pursuit, Chevy Caprice PPV, Chevy Tahoe PPV, Ford explorer Interceptor, and Dodge Durango pursuit with all have over 350hp. The 2020 Ford Explorer Interceptor now has 400hp with a 3.5L V6 twin turbo EcoBoost and 10 speed automatic transmission.
Loved this content, the police have to deal with some horrible consequences of fast or dangerous driving. Eye opener for some people.

gotta ask if I go to the uk on vacation is the 10 over rule like 10 over the speed limit, is it allowed as in like nothing will happen if I were caught doin it or is it illiegal to go like anything above the stated speed limit

Great content Archie 😎 Some pretty decent road craft on the night time blue light run by other road users - do you tend to find people are less likely to see you or pulling over during the day? What’s the longest it’s taken for someone to realise you’re there? Is there a penalty that could be applied in this case or a flea in the ear?
I can comment as a blue light driver myself, albeit working for the ambulance service. Good days and bad days, good drivers and bad drivers.
From experience, people tend to react better at night, on the basis that lights are much more noticeable and are seen further away. I've followed someone for 2-3 miles before they've noticed us and that's using multiple siren tones, headlight flashes and different vehicle positions.
I'm some cases if you don't move and an officer sees this, you may be considered for driving without due care and attention. Hope this helps.

Been in a few chases when I was a lot younger, when I think back to them we were extremely stupid and took crazy risks purely to get away, the worst I ever done on a personal note was drive down a large set of stairs.
And a little top tip, NEVER buy an Ex police car, if you watch back any police chases and focus on ''speed humps'' that's why you don't ever want to buy an Ex police car.
