Thanks for this! I'm big into conversions. Built a couple, but not Cadillacs.
So cool that that body shop built a few of them! Thanks for the history on this car
and showing its details.
Now I've got that Johnny Cash - One Piece At A Time song going in my head again. Nice car!
Cadillac. Pickup. Wow, that's amazing! Newer seen this kind of bodywork before.

Great video. Although the car is a bit of this and that, it’s still cool. I grew up with a kid, his father was an executive at GM. His old man had something to do with supplying fleets of cars to builders. There was a scale model of a late 1950’s ambulance in his den.
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍 : I love the GM 1958 models, I own a 58 Olds Super 88 style is similar just love these vehicles ! GM states these vehicles are light duty pick up truck, my GM 1976 Sprint is classified light duty pick up ! Your vehicle is so cool ! Best of luck with it ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍🇺🇸
I have a 48 roadmaster limo hearse.it was built by flexible.the car was heightened 9 inches ,5ft doors added in center rear lengthened for caskets.barn door in rear and high crown roof..its the same wheelbase as a 87 crew cab chevy 1 ton dually but 5 feet longer body.its. a beauty.came with straight eight.

I can just imagine that factory air conditioning in that single cab.... brrrrr lol
diferent.😎👍
Is that a flower truck? Funeral homes used these, a lot of them had stainless beds. I ran onto 2 late model eldorados (80s) at Auburn auction a few years ago, nice pieces, naturally no money
@snodgress137 it is not. If it was then i would have stated so and would have been made by a coach builder like superior or miller meteor with an aluminum bed for the flowers.
Thats what i thought too.I've even seen some import ones here in Australia.
Most, if not all of the funeral cars I’ve seen have been converted from 4-door cars, so that at least one of the rear doors becomes a side door to the bed.
@mattskustomkreations actually they were converted by coach builders on Comercial chassis not passenger chassis
I don’t know which of the two of you is more envious of the other
@@Mike-hr6jz lol yeah it happens
Very cool 🤙 I need one of those tri power setups. 390? BTW I just found I believe a 58-59 air cleaner I have it.

Flower car conversion
@@ozzymd1 was never used as one
It's a funeral flower car. built that way at the factory.
@tuberNunya wrong and definitely wrong. You have some research to do!
Its a flower car.!🤔
@@CraigSavinsky-y7x nope not coach built
like 148 ! I subscribed !
Flower funeral car? I would do a mahogany Bedliner in back.
@@Normanx964 no it's not
It’s called a funeral flower car not an El Camino! GYHOOYA!
@bobtraub9945 this is not a coach built flower car! This was a custom built truck as stated in video. We know the difference between the two...the flower cars were built on Comercial chassis that were over a foot longer and with leaf springs and a full aluminum bed. This was built off a passenger car. Between the two of us we have over 60 years of experience in cadillacs and coach built cadillacs...
All these great classic car guys need to teach AI everything they know so the knowledge doesn't get lost. It appears-old guy in Vermont is 80, and there's another VW guy in Illinois and he's in his 80s. Wants to throw stuff away now. Going to have to teach AI cuz he's young people just aren't doing it like they should. Modern cars are not worth learning anything about they're completely disposable.
