I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago. I have never bought a Ford before. I am super impressed with this car. Excellent German build quality, terrific ride and handling and plenty of power with excellent fuel economy. Really roomy inside with an excellent driving position. Touch screen is very intuitive and it has all the safety gear. I think it looks pretty cool too: beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Luggage capacity is fantastic: a really practical family car that drives like a warm hatch. Just my own honest opinion after driving the car car for a few weeks.
Hey Robert, looking at one of these used. How have you found it? Any issues or you still a fan? I'm a bit worried about them discontinuing the Focus here in Aus and what it means for maintaining it in the future.
@@danhughes12 Hi Dan, I still have the Focus wagon and I love it. It's probably the best car I have ever had. It is very roomy, economical and definitely enough power for me. I have had it nearly three and a half years now and no issues at all. I get it serviced at the dealer on fixed price servicing: $300 annually so far. I can definitely recommend it. If you are buying used, just make sure it has been serviced as per the logbook
anthony mills Ahahahahah soccer mum nowadays. I live in a tall family with me being 6,6 and dad being 6,8 and our family car was an i30 wagon. Perfect car for a family but sadly the trend has moved on to SUV. Hate it when people around the 5ft-6,2 mark say they need an suv for space, any wagon or sedan does the job perfectly
I'm so glad to see wagons making a come back. I drive a Liberty GT TbSTi Wagon and bloody love it. It's a shame everyone is shifting to SUVs. I hate that she said 'it doesn't scream wagon, which is good to some people'. I am not one of those people...
We have had a new ST line Hatch for 3 weeks. 6- 6.4 l/100 on the highway with ease. 8 - 8.5 for the work commute. Its our 3rd focus- we have had one from each generation and this is easily the best. Looked at all the other brands{again} and nothing feels as solid on the road or in the build quality. Since the powershit transmission model Focus has been fords best kept secret LOL. I think this car will change that.
It's cheaper than an SUV, its nicer to look at than an SUV, has a bigger boot then an SUV and its more fuel efficient then a SUV. Sounds like the perfect reason to buy an SUV. "Perhaps I'd be better off in the SUV 4WD"....you slipped the wheels before the traction control kicked in, didums.
This review is really bad : Small car ?? It's bigger than the Peugeot 308SW i had and legroom in the back is bigger then the Peugeot. I really can't get the low score. It's almost like if she is paid to give it a bad review and a low score.
We have ZERO Ford Focus' of any kind, nor any CMax's of any variety and soon no Fusions (Mondeo) either, in the USA, because Ford can't be bothered to sell them here. Ford makes their money selling the F150 Pickup Trucks.
You guys now are getting a small idea of what we went though in Aus when for USA killed our local car industry. They actually thought a mustang would replace our beloved Falcon.
Slips... Thats the driver lack of skill. Problems with the auto gear box. Try driving like a normal person, drive manual! This is st line trim. Mazda vw, all crap. Suv are trash and dangerous cars unless you are driving a c5 aircross with hrydoneumatic suspension, unless you just drive straight like.

How much did Ford pay you to write that

@@robertvalerio7335 amazing! Thanks for the info!
But don't all mums with toddlers need a $80,000 2000kg 1.9m high SUV preferably with a Luxury badge on it. This won't be good enough for them.

Stop before you buy a pointless SUV, please see this great and affordable well rounded wagon option for Aussie families.
Pointless lol How about you take this wagon where I take my Forester...see how you go.
True that. Our family car was an i30 wagon and it’s perfect for us

So the rear seat isn't big enough for your kids but it's large enough for you ??
No mention that the wagon comes with independent rear suspension vs the torsion beam the hatch comes with.
@Isaac Clarke nope
Isaac Clarke not in Australia
Bad review, good car
bad review. Mazda drives better than focus??? You must be joking

Miss Ford Foucs
The hatchback is so much sexier.
really bad proportions on hatchback...

The hatchback is way more appealing and good looking.
The only thing wrong with this car...the steering wheel is on the wrong side.
it is on the right side

GOOD LOOKING! It's better than the China's cross version.
What a crapp review. What she is nagging about....small car ???
This is a very stiff car. In addition to this front seats, especially passenger side is terrible. Not comfortable at all.

Where’s your 185 cm husband?
Pretty ordinary review no mention of power train eg engine, gearbox, power to weight. Nice eye catching colour though
like a korean car
It's so Ugly :(
Very Cool :D
But Ugly :)
I dont think it looks too bad. The Subaru Levorg is better looking but it's not too bad?
This car has a stinky breath. Fake
That's one horribly proportioned car!!
